We visited the Richmond Hill Dairy Queen on a hot day in July before getting on highway 95 to return home. Since it was so hot, we were looking for ice cream. We were not disappointed. Our party ordered two Blizzards and one soft-serve vanilla cone. Mine was the cone. I think that Dairy Queen offers excellent soft-serve ice cream, and my cone really hit the spot! Those in my party with their Blizzards were quite pleased with their frozen treats as well. As far as atmosphere, this is a typical Dairy Queen, so if you’re familiar with them you’ll feel at home at this one. But I found that the person behind the counter taking our order was very friendly and extremely polite. That hasn’t always been the case at other Dairy Queens, so I was quite impressed! Overall, the stop was a winner: friendly staff and tasty ice cream.

I went to the Dairy Queen in Richmond Hill this evening and ordered a #14, fish sandwich combo and a blizzard. I ordered through the drive thru and the line moved forward with no problems. At the window I was given the blizzard first, and last would have been better. It was melting before I got home. The fish in the sandwich was quite small for the price, the fish was chewy tasted blah, and had hardly any tarter sauce or lettuce on it. I will say my dog loved the french fries. I ordered a diet coke and the coke was flat. For $13 I got a sub par meal. I will not be returning anytime in the near future to this Dairy Queen.

The burger I usually get was good, if I even got it this time. Payed for a whole meal, got none of it. The rest was ok. If you want to make sure you get everything from this place, keep your receipt and stay in line again so they can make it for you like they were supposed to the first time.

Food was hot and fresh. It was fairly quick. Only complaint is that they brought the ice cream before the food but that is an overall DQ issue, most I have been to do this.

Stopped to get a couple blizzards. They didn’t turn it upside down but no matter. Drove off. It was melting before I even got it. Got all over me and the car. The drive thru line was very long due to people ordering food and the blizzards had to be finished and sitting in the heat for 10 minutes or more.

The staff decided to close and lock the doors on a Saturday night at 9:30! Website says the lobby closes at 10! Drive through is 20 cars deep! Ridiculous! The staff are inside talking and laughing just walking around the lobby!

I would give it 0 stars if I could!! Staff was rude and cashier was complaining to me about customers coming inside instead of using the drive thru. “Why all these lazy people coming inside instead of using the drive thru” I simply told him I was 8 months pregnant and had to use the restroom sorry to bother him.

Don’t eat here. The staff is snotty and rude and the food is not good. I ordered an M&M blizzard and it tasted like a burnt hamburger. It was disgusting.
