I’ve been kind of riding the fence on this one since my visit. This is a newer location and I’ve been meaning to stop since they opened. I waited till the lines were shorter and I was close by to them. I decided to use the app to place my order to get my points. The app is fairly easy to navigate and I was able to find something I wanted and placed the order. I ordered the Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard and I decided to just go with a small. I was only about 3 doors down from them when I placed the order so it only took me a few minutes to get there. I placed my order to pick up inside as I wanted to get a look at the restaurant. It’s much bigger than the usual Dairy Queen and has seating for quite a few people both inside and out. Everything is well lit and easy to access. When you enter through the side door the counter is in front of you with the menu boards up above. You can see right into the prep area to where the drive-thru window is. I arrived over 5 minutes before I was told my order would be ready and it took a couple of minutes before I was actually greeted by anyone. A couple of employees did notice me but they seem to be fairly busy. No one was at the counter itself and I just kind of spent some time looking around at things. When the gentleman greeted me he asked if I was picking up an order and what name it was under. I gave him the information and he spoke to someone else and it took a minute before they found my order. The gentleman back handed my Blizzard to the gentleman who had spoken to me and he brought it over and handed it to me along with a red spoon. My first impression is that their sizing has gotten much smaller since I used to order. Another important fact to me is they advertise Blizzard’s where they make them and turn the cup upside down and then turn it back fairly quickly and nothing comes out. Mine was melted enough that it would have all just poured out of the cup if I had tried to turn it upside down at the counter. I’m not sure how fast they made it and where it was sitting but it clearly had a chance to warm up quite a bit. I took my treat home and put it in the freezer for a little bit so I could enjoy it a little more like I would expect it to be.

I couldn’t believe that my food was served to me on the nastiest trays I have ever seen. I was looking for to Dairy Queen Burger but this destroyed my experience

We hadn’t had a DQ near us in years and glad to see them. Unfortunately after this visit won’t be going back. I approached the manager/owner I believe and asked if he would accept critique. He didn’t understand the word. I explained by saying the word comment. He said ok. I told him I teach guest services and there were a few basics absent such as greeting customers (there was zero), always looking up and aware of the front of the house (which took 8 minutes), thanking them, and a few others such as the tray I was given with my food had food smeared on it that was not from my food. I also pointed out the restaurant was filthy and watched him go over to the drink station and pick up a tray but never removed the paper debris a few inches from the trash hole. I then watched him take the dirty tray and put it right back on the rack at the cashier’s area. He acted like he didn’t care. When I questioned why the difference between fries and onion rings as shown being .80 cents but he charged me .89 as shown on the receipt he then went into pretending he didn’t understand me. On top of that with six employees in the store, I had to wait almost 9 minutes to give my order with only 1 person in front of me. You could tell they didn’t have a clue about guest service.

This location just opened and we were so excited as we have been waiting for one in or close to Davenport/Clermont.

New store, long wait but definitely worth it. If you’re not ok with missed orders or the wrong items go somewhere else. Or stay home and quit crying.. These young adults working are definitely giving it their all.

For those who have notated about the store being understaffed. Congratulations, it’s bring a friend to work day. Staff and customers were almost at a 1:1 ratio. Unfortunately, most of their staff was standing in front of the registers, restrooms, or just chatting it up with their friends from high-school on the foor. I lost count of how many people had incorrect orders or just walked out while I was eating. I know they are little over week of being open but it’s clear that training and policy and procedures are either missing or there is a lack there of. If you are a lucky recipient of food or a blizzard it appears that is coming out correctly.

Great atmosphere!!! This location is located right off the main road (SR27) and is easy to access and exit. The store was clean and tidy and appears to be brand new with nothing worn or broken. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as handicap friendly. The staff are friendly and prompt. Our order was for dessert for five, and there were no problems with the accuracy of our order including special requests for a few items. Based on our experience we will definitely revisit this location in the future.

I wish I didn’t love this place so much! I am addicted to their blizzards! I use the mobile app for everything because you earn free food with it. I have already earned 3 or 4 free large size blizzards with it.

Me and my husband eat here for dinner usually twice a week. The last two times I’ve been I’ve been disappointed though! I thought maybe the first time was just a mess up but after if happening again last night and me calling the manager this morning to get spoke poorly, we will not be back! For the price of this food to be missing items, and made incorrectly, then to not even be able to get the order fixed when brought to the attention of the manager is quite sad. I could hardly even understand the manager KP on the phone before he asked me to hold for a moment then hung up on me. He told me I have to call night shift because it happened on night shift… so a paying customer that did nothing wrong has to bend over backwards to get it corrected on the behalf of your business. It doesn’t matter what shift it took place.. it’s your business.. And I wasn’t going to call at almost close and I have two small sleeping children. So now because I didn’t called night shift they will do nothing for the $30 that went down the drain. Then to be hung up on… completely unprofessional. I’m not sure how that manager can even run the shift when he doesn’t know what to for orders that do get messed up. He has no sense of knowledge about how to fix the problem or satisfy a customer. In fact he hung up on me making rhe communication barrier much more harder. I will not be coming back. $60 of my money I can save weekly or take elsewhere.

K.p. is a very friendly associate. He took my order and repeated it back to me. I asked for whipped cream, and this is the first time since I have been visiting this location that my order has been correct. Thank you for making what was going to be my last visit a better experience.
