This is a great dairy queen for after hitting the lake! We always come here after Taylorsville lake, only about 4-5 mins from the boat ramp which is really nice. The employees are all very kind and have a good laugh when we all show up soaking wet cause we got caught in a thunderstorm.

Hadn’t been to this location for quite some time. Thought I’d give it another try. Fries were refried. Fries thrown on its side everything crammed into one bag. I had a $40+ order and THREW everything into one bag. Things in it’s side all the food was a cold hot mess. Won’t go back to this location again. This reason is why I hadn’t went there for a very long time.

I was in there on Friday night and the customer service was horrible! We walked in and stood at the counter for maybe 7-10min while the staff were all huddled with other customers laughing and talking over by the dining area. Once someone finally came to take our order I admit I was annoyed by then and asked if they were still even open and the girl got an attitude back saying yes and I let her know we had been standing there for a while and it’s bad customer service to make customers wait while your just having conversations. The employee then said that the people that she was talking to are customers too. Yes they were customers that were done eating and just standing around. I was still figuring out what I wanted and then she had the nerve to say oh you mean you don’t know what you want yet. I ended up leaving. I’ve always liked the Taylorsville DQ and that’s the worst experience I’ve ever had there.

On our travels we stopped for ice cream. It was good but the ice cream was more of an ice milk texture. I’ve noticed this in another location as well. Did the recipe change? My Reece blizzard was mostly ice cream.
