Maybe we visited this Dairy Queen in Salyersville on a bad day.. Service was so slow that the manager gave me 5 free blizzard coupons. After waiting Forever on our To Go order we got back on the road to find that our food was literally pathetic. My BBQ chicken melt wrap was barely rolled with contents falling out… milkshake was melted.. but the worst was my son’s grilled chicken sandwich.. picture below.. literally two cut pieces of chicken with bacon. I never complained the whole Twenty Minutes I was there waiting on our order for the three of us. Was very polite and understanding. Had I not been in a hurry I would’ve turned around and went back to Return the pitiful sandwich. Sorry for such a bad review.. but I would hate for this to happen to someone else. As for the employees. Cashier was nice. He was new.. teenager.. but learning. Joked with customers and was always smiling and polite. I really hope this Dairy Queen will improve. It’s a popular stop at the beginning of the Mountain Parkway.

They have the best blizzards on earth as well as Chicken Strip Baskets, the breakfast is as good as your mama’s was when you was a kid. I insist on trying a BLT, its probably my favorite item on the menu.

If you have the choose between this place and somewhere else for breakfast go somewhere else. I order a chicken and biscuit only I got a chicken biscuit gravy. That’s not what I ordered. They took it back. Then they gave me a half of a chicken strip on a biscuit. I guess I was lucky to get that because they hadn’t even started on remaking the sandwich until I walked up to the counter and ask if my sandwich was ready. They seem to be more about talking the waiting on the customer.

I purchased two blizzards and paid for extra toppings. Both blizzards lacked hardly any toppings at all. When I told the workers of my problem they laughed and said “yes they do.” $10 for two medium blizzards that were not even fixed correctly is a ripoff!!! Never again! Extremely rude staff and poor service.
