I frequently travel the turnpike and today I was truly disappointed with the customer service with DQ. There were three bus loads of people which of course mean the lines are extremely long. After waiting for a half hour with three people in front of me… nonchalantly the person said… we are closed.

I had the DQ $6 lunch combo. For $6, I got a cheeseburger, fries, drink and a small hot fudge sundae. The food was fresh and served with a smile. My wife had lunch from Panera and paid $13.97 for a small bowl of soup, half of a sandwich and a drink. For a fast lunch on the turnpike, I preferred my $6 DQ special.

The “5” dollar box is actually 5.99 here. The chicken salad is about the size of a side salad with a tiny bit of chicken. The blizzard was high quality but I would suggest to go to Pamera next door instead.

If you are going there for dessert, it’s great, but their burgers were nothing special. The burger was tasty enough, but the bun was very stiff. Maybe it was just stale. At $6 for a meal and dessert, it’s a great deal though.

Went here to eat told us they wouldn’t serve us with out a mask. Which fine but don’t tell someone that when your employees are in back having a conversation without a mask on. Of course once I said something they all had masks on. My 9 year old son order his and his sisters food, she had an attitude when he was ordering. The employee put my son food on the counter and turned around he was the one who said thank you, she didn’t even turn around to say have a good day. Very rude! We travel all the time never have I been so embarrassed for a company to treat a child with disrespect.
