Place was very packed and many employees seemed to be scrambling, very little leadership. Ordered ahead of time on the app and it doesn’t make it much of difference because they told me I still had to wait in line. Older gal with glasses and short brown hair also had a snarky tone, and was kind of rude. Also saw this gentleman “working”

I keep going back because of nostalgia, but I’m disappointed every time. Darn my childhood love for Blizzards…. Prepare to be frustrated here. Slow and inattentive service, makes for long waits and mediocre food (by the time you get it). Drive thru goes right by the garbage bins, which makes for a very “ripe” experience as you order and await your food. One positive is they usually get the order right, so you don’t have to lose extra time getting things corrected.

I was there to pick up a blizzard cake I had ordered for my sons birthday and when I went to go pick it up, there was a lady yelling at someone in the back. My daughter and I waited awkwardly at the counter as she kept yelling. She then finally asked what could she get me. I said I ordered a blizzard cake and she went to go get it from the back. She brought it up to the counter and I notice there was no writing on the cake, so I told her I had ordered it with writing. She then sighed and said I’ll do it. She went in the back and grabbed orange frosting and didn’t ask what frosting I wanted on it(I had ordered red) She was stilling yelling at someone in the back as she was getting the frosting. She then takes the cover off the cake and starts touching the candies with her fingers. She then writes happy birthday and then shoves the cake in the bag rudely. I will never come to this Dairy Queen again. I have worked in the retail world and I understand when you are having a bad day but it’s not right to act that way to customers that have done nothing to you. I don’t understand this “I don’t care how I treat the customers” attitude I am seeing more and more.

While the food was fine (melted blizzard is still tasty, albeit messy when the lid isn’t secure), the service left something to be desired. The workers seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which made the experience less enjoyable. I hope the management can address the issue with their team and improve the service for future customers.

I went there last night with my partner to get ice cream. We sat in a very long line (~15 min) to get to the ordering machine. The 3 cars in front of us peeled away quickly, and when we got to the machine, they were not serving ice cream anymore… which they had served to all the people in front of the last few of us. It was not 15 minutes before closing either. It was at 8:05, almost an hour before. This has happened many times, and something ALWAYS seems to go wrong at this location. Save yourself the time and effort and go to a different location altogether.

This store is absolutely the worst DQ. The 2 boxes of dilly bars we picked up to bring to a family party were completely smashed/melted and refrozen. When my daughter attempted to return the 5 unused bars for a refund, they laughed and told her they couldn’t do that since there was 1 missing from the box. The woman was rude to every customer in line and then the manager was equally as rude. Simply unbelievable customer service and terrible product.

Waited in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes to be told they were out of chocolate ice cream. The person working the window provided zero customer service and was extremely short. Both of our blizzards were hardly mixed at all, the bottom 2/3 being plain ice cream. Overall a poor experience and won’t be returning to this location.

Watched my blizzard sit on the counter for at least 5 minutes on an 85 degree day before they handed it out the window. It was the only thing I ordered. He tried tipping it upside down after I asked him to and it spilled all over the outside of my car. I asked them to make a new one and they told me it wasn’t melted. It melted all over me, my wallet, my clothes, and my car. I went around, parked, walked in a got a refund. No one tried to make it right. And the lady that refunded me said “Bless your heart”. Yeah. I’ve spent time in the south, I know what that means lady. They made no effort to make me happy as a customer whatsoever. Didn’t offer to remake the blizzard. Didn’t offer a refund until I went in and demanded one. They also didn’t give my dog a pup cup which they had offered. No one cares at this Dairy Queen. And DQ relations, if your response is “sorry about your bad experience, please try us again”, like on the many other poor reviews, don’t bother. That’s a nothing burger. Take a leadership role and fix your terrible restaurant.

We will not be back.. we will gladly drive to Maple Grove. Out of onion rings, cheese curds and pretzel sticks, waited more 35 minutes in the drive thru. Ordered a small blizzard got a mini one. Tried to call this location over 20 times no answer! (They did answer but would hang up on you

They were out of two of four items that I ordered and caused my delivery of ice cream treats to be 1 1/2 hours late. When I go to store I usually am told that they are out of items, and they have long lines of customers both drive-thru and in store. I have never had a great experience at the Plymouth , Mn Grill & Chill. I will not be going back there.
