Honestly just confused about their set-up. There were 3 cars ahead of us and we ordered in the drive through and someone came and took our card for payment, no problem, we figured it would be quick at the window then. She comes back with our card and the two sundays…but we still are 3 cars deep and need to wait for our chicken strip box. The ice cream was melted by the time we got the chicken strips. Then we were even more disappointed when we open the chicken strip box. Barely any fries and the bread looked gross. I guess we won’t be returning. The wait was ridiculous.

To be honest it was probably the worse burger I have ever had. They were busy, but that’s not a good excuse. I was paying a premium for sub par food. I will definitely rethink my dining options next time I am in moose lake.

6/4/23, went to the Moose Lake Dairy Queen for lunch and it was quite busy. What looked like the manager(dark haired lady) on duty was very busy with things. She handled a rush of customers and challenging young employees with grace and a smile. Wonderful to witness.

The Moose Lake DQ is a small town DQ with all the amenities of a Twin Cities location. The orders are always accurate and the high school workers are surprisingly friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here, blizzards are always made to perfection. I know the bathroom is a little dated, but it’s usually clean enough for 99.9% of people.

Simply put, place needs new management/owners. Our recent experience – order wasn’t right, ice cream was basically water, and all the food was very cold. For whatever reason I keep going back to this DQ location and continue having subpar experiences. You’d think I’d learn. Do yourself a favor and skip this location.

Every time I come through this place they mess somthing up or forget sonthing. Its the only place open in town on my way home from work and its a bit rediculouse that they can’t even remember my sauce.

We rolled in with our four hungry kids after a busy day of mountain biking in cold, windy, snowy conditions right as a young gentleman was getting ready to lock up the front door for the evening. He welcomed us in and we had great service. Our meals really the spot after being out in the cold all day. Thank you, Moose Lake DQ staff, for being so welcoming and awesome. Keep up the good work!
