We just bought 2 pup cups for our dogs because they love them, and the owner was really rude when we came up to the window and the owner said we needed to buy something next time so they can make money also like it we get it but could’ve been nicer about it or charged us for the pup cups. We’ve never been charged before for pup cups or ever had a complaint.

This is one of the fastest DQs in the area, second only to Staples or DL. Flamethrower is always a risky bet, and this trip it was a hot mess. Ice cream quantity just seems to diminish every year. Definitely go to Dee’s instead, if it’s busy in the summer.

Almost every time we have gone for a treat, the order has either been wrong or there is literally (counted) 2 pieces of candy for whatever type of blizzard we have ordered. It’s pretty much always staffed with young kids from town, which is great, but they still need to listen appropriately so that customers are satisfied. When you’re paying $5 for a small blizzard it’s expected that it’s right and it has a decent amount of candy inside. It’s honestly to the point that I’ve decided to stop going and will just take my kids to the dollar store in town to pick out a treat.

If you are African American just don’t stop here ! I went in about 2 days ago did not know it was National free cone day . I ask how much are your cones can I get 4 of them . The cashier says “ oh it’s free cone day “ , I’m like great can I have 4 kids cones . He then says “ oh I have to ask my manager. The manager and the entire Dairy Queen moved to the other side of the counter to turn and tell me I can only get 1 for free . Fine I decided to get the kids silly bars . Not even 5 mins later this WHITE man comes in and ask for 4 cones it was just him and his grandson . They begin to leave and his grandson is like “ oh we have to pay “ no it’s free day and just walks out … the entire store know they was wrong but yet didn’t do anything about it . I will never make a stop here again and if your African American traveling , just keep pushing because the service will be rude & racist

I swear anywhere else the chicken strips are double the size, the fries are soggy mush and the toast is bread. How is this nearly $10??????

My wife and I drove through Sunday, late afternoon. My Alaskan cod fish sandwich combo with a hot fudge malt was wonderful, as was my wife’s 6 piece chicken strip combo basket with a Coke. Food was all very hot, which is almost unexpected with fast food, sadly. Generous portions, great taste. Excellent polite and professional staff.

Went through the drive-thru, ordered, went to the drive-thru window and paid. Received my food and drove home to eat there. Food has always been a hit or miss at this Dairy Queen to be honest. This Dairy Queen basically has the option of hamburgers or ice cream. I am unsure about how they prepare their french fries but they’re not like traditional fried fries and usually are a bit limp, not very warm and either have too much salt or not enough. I ordered the $7 special which comes with a burger, fries a medium sized drink which seems small to me and an ice cream which you can pay a dollar to upgrade to a blizzard super small Blizzard. Like usual, my food was lukewarm and lacked appeal. The redeeming Factor was the blizzard. Value isn’t very good. There are maybe four places maybe five if open, in barnesville Minnesota that you can actually eat out at and you aren’t given much of a choice. This Dairy Queen closes around 9:00 p.m. also most places in barnesville close by 6:00 p.m. so if you’re really hungry, just know you’re not giving very many options to eat out in Barnesville. I would only order ice cream or the ice cream cakes from this Dairy Queen but as far as food goes maybe opt for Purple Goose.
