The Dairy Queen in Española is one of the best fast-food restaurants in the area if you like good-old fashioned American cheeseburgers, hamburgers and their french fries are made nice n crispy, not too much and the burgers, even their basic burgers/cheeseburgers are enough, with fries, to make you feel like you just had a real meal! Since it’s Dairy Queen, you have to order something from their ice cream/sundaes or shakes menu and they have a tasty variety. I ordered a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and when your eating at Dairy Queen you seem to just have to eat your burger, fries and your ice cream/sundae/shake at the same time; it tastes great together, plus your soft drink, it’s an American fast food tradition and it’s nice there’s one still around in Española, about a 27 mile drive south from where my family and I live in Taos, where we don’t have a Dairy Queen.

If I could give no stars, I absolutely would. I was waiting in line for 30 minutes just to get to the window for them to say they’re closed, when their hours clearly say they’re opened until 9 pm. If you close at 8pm, then change your hours, as it is a waste of time and I could’ve been waiting in line somewhere else during that time.

These kids that Espanola dairy Queen need to get with the program you order something extra and then they forget to put something else especially when it comes to blizzards then you order a small blizzard and you get your cup with half ice cream in it especially if it’s evening shift night shift anytime after 5:00 they mess up so bad had my children not eating their ice cream as fast as they did I would have taken pictures when I got home
