First time eating here. Simply didn’t know Cottage Grove had a Dairy Queen. It’s not on/near the fast-food row by the main highway where we usually frequent but instead is located on the south end of the old highway, close to old town. It has a spacious & clean dining room. ONION RINGS were the best! Received food fast, hot & yummy. Had great service start to finish from “Charles” who was exceptionally courteous & respectful at all times to all customers. Plenty of free parking spots on both sides of the building. *Will definitely eat here again* but will ask for a food tray next time, which makes for an easier time carrying the food, napkins, condiments & drinks to the table as well as for clean-up when finished.

Me and my friends went in with 20 minutes until we had to be somewhere, and there was nobody in there only like 5 cars in the drive thru, we ordered and sat down to wait, we saw people come In and go as we were waiting we only ordered like 5 blizzards and some sandwich for each of us, we waited 52 minutes and we still didn’t get our food, we luckily did get a refund but I am very disappointed. I have went in before where it only took like 5 minutes to get a blizzard idk what happened but it is a shame 🙁

My family had a late lunch here on Sunday and I still cannot get over how excellent the service was and not just for us but everyone who came in. We have been encountering such terrible service at some many places recently – bad attitudes and the like. It was so nice to feel like we mattered and were welcomed. Thank you! Food was good too!

Staff was friendly enough, but waited over 30 min for our order (3chickenstrip meals) and a dilly bar, when I ordered I asked for extra sauce, and when we finally got our order I was told we would have to pay more for the sauce I already asked for, and then they didn’t even give us the dilly bar, so we had to run inside to get it and we had to wait another 15 min. Do better.

Ordered 2 chicken strip baskets and a kids meal. It’s obvious all the food had been sitting for awhile. The fries were cold and mushy. Terrible experience, do not eat here.

One of the weirdest DQ experiences ever. The menu is very different from the one in veneta or Springfield. They changed the $7 all day boxes to just a lunch special from 11-4, no dollar menu, and trying to order through drive thru was crazy difficult. Paid $13 for 6pc tender with cheese curds and small dipped cone for my kiddo, I just wanted it to end so I didn’t order. People were nice though and our food had to be made fresh so it came out nice and hot. But I will not be back. There’s plenty other drive thru options in cottage Grove
