Been going there for over 45 years. Knew it when Buck & Vera owned the place… Way back when!! Got a burger, fries and drink. I used to pay under $2.50 for that meal but it’s now $10 + dollars. It’s the times in which we live though… Hard getting used to that. Great place to eat and I will be back!! No doubt…

I LOVE this place! I have a sensitivity to meat and have to have it burnt in able to eat it… I can’t tell you how upsetting it is to get home with food I can’t eat…. I tell them how I need it cooked and they listen to me!!!!! And they DO it…. GREAT food and GREAT people… My grade for them is an A++++++

Today’s special was hamburgers but I can’t remember the price. Took about 10-15 mins for my burger and order of fries to be ready but it was understandable seeing how busy they were! Burger itself was good, not too dry and not too much seasoning. The fries were good and hot but lacked salt. Service was quick and friendly.

Received very poor service at Dairyland. Visiting my daughter in Sweetwater and we decided to give Dairyland a try. I was very interested in the place after seeing a sign about a reward they had won. We left very disappointed. We placed our order of 2 baby burgers and set down at the picnic table just to be harassed by a man asking for a ride, come to find out Dairyland is a place he hangs out seeking rides. After 20 mins and still waiting for our food we went to the window to ask how much longer it would be and a girl at the grill said, “oh, I’ll start it now.”. Shortly, after that 2 different people that had ordered after us received their food. We stood close by (trying to avoid the old man looking for a ride) finally after about 10 more minutes we received our food without a thank you or an apology. We went straight home and the burgers we waited over half an hour for were cold….. I will not spend any of my time or money there again.

When doing road trips, we try and eat at local places. This place looked like it was gonna be great. I don’t know if they were having a bad day, but my king burger was cold and incredibly underwhelming. Plus this place is pretty far from the main road and expensive (for Texas). You can’t be inconvenient, expensive _and_ bad.
