Went an hour before closing (this has happened to me plenty of times at any time of the day so I guess the time is irrelevant) got a chicken fried steak potato with sour cream, butter and cheese . Waited about ten minutes for it no big deal rather my food be fresh than old. Got home and the potato is so old/over cooked I don’t think butter would help it even if they remembered my butter and sour cream that I asked for. Chicken fried steak was also a little over done. I was able to eat it this time but the last time I got it, it was extremely rubbery.

The brisket and BBQ sauce were great! So were the beans. The potato salad was smooth like mashed potatoes, but tasted okay. The cole slaw was terrible, sorry. Maybe there’s some folks out there that like it, but way too mayo heavy. I’d rate it higher but the customer service was lacking (felt like I was a bother to them). Would I go back? Sure!

Brisket is more like roast, beans are ok, potato salad is not good at all and the ribs are nasty. My second and last time here. People are nice, food is priced well, but i cant get past food.

Brisket sandwich. Good flavor, but probably half the the ‘meat’ was fat. Not what I expected for the price. If had eaten in the restaurant would have returned the sandwich.

Absolutely delicious brisket and sausage and barbecue sauce as well as potato salad and coleslaw, the pickles, onions and bread of course, and I’m very glad that the restaurant staff was so helpful as I am stuck in rehab eating food worse than hospital/airline food! Very friendly service and understanding for those of us who are wandering the world with fear of covid! Excellent BBQ fixes your mind and belly at the same time! Thanks so much y’all!

So much salt I could kill a bufflo my ribs burnt to crisp brisket ok just ok with weird after taste u will need a extra bbq sauce potatoes salad is not good at all sorry but yall need take more pride in your food

So, the food is good and so is the BBQ sauce. The staff was nice and courteous and the dining room was clean. However, they a little stingy with the brisket. I’ve only been here once, so I’m not sure if it’s the norm, but for $11-12 for a sliced brisket sandwich, that mug should be bulging! I could’ve just bought a 1/2 pound of meat and some bread and been WAY better off that the 3-4 tiny cuts of brisket my sad sandwich had. I’m going to give them another try because it could’ve been a fluke, we’ll see.

I don’t think the chopped brisket is as good as it once was. Too much fat. Went back yesterday and had a double meat burger and fries. Both were very good.
