Wicked good fried chicken! Potatoes wedges were not crispy but everything was hot and very flavorful. Very good. Iconic. Outside there are 3 tables to sit on with umbrellas. I would maybe add one more and maybe a restroom or a hand washing station as you get dirty eating. They give you moist towellets though. These are minor things, I crave this across the state line. I wish they had more locations.

In town, found this place via Google. Had a bunch of great reviews. Not often places live up to the hype. But this place exceeded. If you’re vacationing here and have any appetite for chicken, stop here! You won’t regret it. Crispy deliciousness for the batter. But unlike other fried chicken options, the chicken is not dry. Definitely juicy as advertised. Also got the potato wedges. Forgot to ask for ketchup, but to our surprise they didn’t need any. Fantastic flavor and stood on their own. Also got the baked beans. They have a mild spiciness that brings out a classic food but with a unique flavor. I could go on and on. Place is easy to find just south of highway 16 on Centennial, but do need to keep an eye out as it is a small location. No dine-in but there are picnic tables if the weather is nice. If not there is a drive through. 12 piece was more than enough for a family of four. We probably could’ve even went with the 8 piece given the two sides. Regardless, very reasonable price for the amount of food. Service was excellent too.

I’d say this is more 3.5 stars. The food was ok and the quantity was pretty good. We come from an area where we have some good fried chicken restaurants and this one fell into the average category for us. It was cheap though compared to other offerings in the area. Definitely pull in and give it a try, our tastes may vary from yours.

Nickel and diming covid fanatics! Won’t give you ice water (1$ for bottled), won’t give refills (due to covid???), ketchup costs 75 cents…. asked for a tip on the receipt. For reference, I had a 50$+ order of 4 meals plus gave a 5$ tip before asking for a refill or ketchup and told I would be charged. Food was fine. Nothing special. Definitely not worth the poor customer service. Easy way to bilk tourist $$ I guess.

Best fried chicken I have had in a very long time! I wish we had tried more of the sides but the potato wedges were awesome. My 2 yr old is a chicken tender connoisseur…she devoured them! This will be on the list of must haves for our next visit.

Small family owned chicken restaurant with incredible chicken. Loved the 4 piece dinner we got. Chicken was super crispy, hot and fresh, perfectly seasoned. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth a stop while in the area!
