Took my family early on a Saturday. Maybe one other table occupied. Nice and helpful staff. The owner happened to overhear the server tell us they were out of juice and milk for my daughter. He offered to run to the store and get some right away. Had high hopes for the food and it was pretty good. Steak was cooked well, but a little on the salty side. No big deal, but definitely not worth 28 bucks. We won’t be going back because of the price. I haven’t been to the Cotton Patch, but the next time we want a good steak dinner, we’ll stick with The Cattle Baron in Portales!

This looked like a good place to eat. The parking lot was full. The service was good. We had height hopes for the food when we saw the prices on the menu. $22 for 8oz sirloin, 4 fried shrimp, salad, baked potato, and bread. The steak was salty, and nothing special. The shrimp reminded me of some we had bought in the frozen food section at Walmart. One good thing the tea is free. I’ve had better at national chain restaurants for cheaper.

One of the nicest places in town to eat. Our waitress was great and knew when to checkup on us and when to let us eat. The food was absolutely amazing. The only complaint I have was the food was a little on the pricey side for the area, but all in all it was worth the price.

Arrived for early lunch. Food had appetizing apperance.. The chicken and garlic rice were good so was steak was cooked correctly. Service was good and had friendly waitress. Slightly pricey but good for quailty.
