We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting in town. This was a fantastic restaurant! Our server Kyle provided excellent service. My husband had the steak and it was delicious and I had the lobster salad which was excellent as well. On our way out the owner or manger thanked us and wished us a happy anniversary which personally made us feel right at home! Highly recommend this restaurant, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. We will be back to dine again!

Tonight was our first time at Dal Mare. My husband and I had a lovely server. Jennifer was very helpful with our meal choices. The salmon was by far the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was perfect. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, but we will return with friends. Can’t wait to try the calamari.

Newly refurbished and new owners. Elegant with an excellent menu and fantastic service. We ate here right after my youngest son received his first high school report card. Hearing us praising my son, our waitress shared our conversation with the chef who sent my son a free dessert to celebrate. Eating here again about two months later without my son, our waitress remembered my son, his name and how well he had done at school and asked me to say hello. Made us feel so welcome and cared for.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by luck. A big good fat fluffy luck. The lobster roll was da bomb! You know from time to time you will have a meal that you will keep on thinking about? Their lobster roll is definitely on my list. The meat was so soft and abundant, with perfect amount of condiments. The roll was buttery and toasted perfectly. I am salivating as I am typing. The fries could be improved but the lobster roll is so dang perfect!

A pleasant surprise in a corner of the North Shore I hadn’t yet discovered. First, the decor: quality materials and tasteful design went into the redesign of the interior. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable, without being overblown or pretentious. Best of all, the meal was one of the most satisfying I’ve had anywhere in the Greater Boston area and particularly on the North Shore. Careful attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients and the nuances of all the seasonings and finishing details. The service couldn’t have been more affable, without being intrusive or cloying.

This is just a wonderful restaurant in Beverly Farms community. We came for my wife’s birthday and were greeted right away by a friendly host and were offered to choose our table. Our waiter was knowledgeable and not over annoying. The food was top notch the temperatures were spot on and side dishes were tasty. I will be back to this place again soon.

So this was our 4th and will likely be our last. Two visits were fine, with good service, and okay food. (Whipped mashed potatoes were yummy.) But the last two visits were not good in terms of service. One time at the bar they forgot to put in our food order. No apology or word from management. (We paid for our drinks and left to make it in time for a movie.) Next time we waited for over 30 min for the entrees at a table. Server said the kitchen was backed up, but at that point we should have been spoken to by management. Is there management on staff here? Needs work in that department and without a “have a good night” from the front of house on the way out…well, we won’t be back.

I tried the restaurant this evening for the first time. I had the pasta and meatball special which was average at best. Four small meatballs and a small amount of pasta. The sauce tasted “store bought” versus homemade. My wife had the salmon which was overcooked (she asked for medium rare). I will not be rushing back.

Dined for lunch with wife and son. The clam chowder and French onion soup were superb. Lobster roll was large and excellent. Ceasar salad was only so-so, lettuce didn’t seem crisp enough, might have been chopped the night before. I’ll return if in the area again.
