There are incredible Italian restaurants in LA, but I’ve yet to try one that can replicate the flavors I remember having in Milan. There’s an authentic level here others haven’t matched. The have “fiori” the fried zucchini flowers I personally haven’t seen on a menu anywhere. I haven’t had them since my grandmother made them a decade ago. Much of the staff speaks Italian which was fun to converse and added to the experience. We will definitely be back to try the veal Milanese, the ossobuco and risotto was delicious, as was the fusilloni. While the burrata was delicious, the prosciutto was fantastic, it tasted like the one my grandfather had hanging in his basement.

Went for dinner on a Wednesday night and had a wonderful time! Excellent service, ambiance, food, host, pretty much everything! Definitely busy and you do need a reservation but totally worth it.

Went without a reservation on a Friday night and they accommodated us (party of two) immediately. The food, the service and the atmosphere are fantastic. Romantic and makes for a good date night spot. We had the Los Feliz salad, the pesto gnocchi, prosciutto-wrapped chicken and tiramisu; all are so tasty and would recommend. Already looking forward to our next visit soon.

Best Italian food I’ve had in LA after 10 years of searching! The mood was so romantic, with the open kitchen & outstanding service. a dining experience to remember and to re-experience. by far the most authentic italian in such a beautiful setting – perfect new addition to one of my favorite neighborhoods

Great atmosphere and friendly service. The food was disappointing for us, however. Tagliatelle and Ossobuco were both bland and very very heavy. The portions were huge but neither of us finished our meal. The salad (I believe called Silver Lake salad) was underwhelming, basically a handful of undressed baby greens with 4-5 mandoline-sliced squash and maybe a half of an apricot. The burrata and ham was solid and simple. Overall you can find better all over LA at a lower price point.

I’ve heard about this restaurant and just wanted to try, but it was not as good as I have heard about it, i was so excited to try but a little bit disappointed, the overall ambience and inside the restaurant was good, people working there were so nice but the food was not perfect. The steak was very overcooked and dark, also I order linguine with clams that it was very fishy and the smell was not good so I was a little bit surprised, besides that the other food, red wine and the ambience was very good!

Best Restaurant in Los Angeles. Authentic Italian food, 4 Italian chefs in the kitchen. Great service and atmosphere. Really recommended. I give 5 stars based on my recent visits. Congrats.

I ordered the special, which was spaghetti with mussels, cherry tomatoes and basil. The mussels were shelled yet I was crunching on little pieces of shell throughout the entire meal. It was very unpleasant and hurt my teeth. I ended up just removing them all and skimming out the pieces of shell to finish the spaghetti. So I paid $28 for a plate of spaghetti noodles in the end. My vegetarian friend basically got $32 overly-salted mac n cheese dish, since she had to remove the meat from any pasta dish, which most of them come with. Lastly, I was annoyed that when I ordered a beer, I was just given a bottle without a glass to pour it in. The waiter was not overwhelmed in the slightest since he hung out with a group of ladies next to us to sample different wines.
