Love this bbq. However, I wish they would be open on the hours listed on the door. I went there after work just a couple of days ago. Arrived before 6:00 p.m. and they were closed. Sign says open until 7:00 p.m.

Specifically asked them to not serve me the part of the ribs that are just hard dried up skin and gristle bones on my to go order… which is exactly what she gave me.. and kinda had the attitude of “you’ll get what I give you” … I Specifically told her that I’m not able to chew it when its that portion of the ribs even because its like chewing beef jerky… she assured me it wasn’t, but when I got home, it all was!! Wasted 20 bucks on something I can’t eat!!

Cute, casual BBQ place decorated with antique signs and an OU theme. Food was good and reasonably priced. The lite meal was a decent sized sandwich and choice of side with a drink under $7. The chopped brisket came with tangy tomato sauce already mixed into the meat. There were several sides to choose from: potato salad (I ordered), fried okra, baked beans, coleslaw, etc. $2 for a warm cherry or peach cobbler, or brownie for dessert. Dale’s also offers catering.

Just ate lunch here and there picture can be deceiving, my brisket chopped sandwich didn’t look right to me, it’s looks very mushy, my curly fries are soft and some were not done smh very disappointed in the place.The only thing I enjoyed was the drink!!! I won’t be back here again! The faceted I called asking question and from the tone of her voice she didn’t like the feedback and that’s very sad as well!

Was at ace hardware and saw a bbq place I haven’t tried. I got a lb of the shredded brisket and half a slab of ribs. The ribs were ok nothing special however as you can see the brisket was awful. First thing with brisket is it should be good enough on it’s own. If they have to add sauce to it you know something is wrong. And this was a mushy mess the consistency of canned ham salad just gross. No one would eat it and I have boys who will eat most anything! If you want good bbq go to nw 39th and meridian and drop by jack’s bbq the best ribs ever!!

Mrs. Flip Out and I stopped in for lunch since we were in the area. We both got a two meat combo. I got their smoked sausage and jalapeño cheddar sausage; Mrs. Flip Out had the smoked turkey and chopped bbq brisket. I really enjoyed both meats and they each had great flavor. Mrs. Flip Out liked the smoked turkey more than the chopped bbq brisket. We both really liked their house made bbq sauces, especially the apple habanero bbq sauce.

Rude: I had ordered lunch for my whole office and when we got it to the office there was NO bbq sauce on anything. So I called back and spoke to someone who was very kind and said she would give me a free rib dinner next time. Two weeks pass and I spoke to a Melissa who was so rude she grilled me on what I ordered, when I got it, how did I pick it up. I told her I had a receipt to prove it and she said people are always calling her trying to get free food. I have a huge party for my apartment complex coming up and we were going to use Dale’s for catering. I told her she was rude and she said I was rude I just can’t imagine talking to a customer like that. Don’t come here!!!!!!!

I went during lunch, which was busy, but they were able to help me and completed my order quickly. I only spent about 15 minutes there and walked in with two people ahead of me and when I left there were about 4-5 waiting to be helped. Not completely satisfied with the food though, it reminded me of the BBQ that you get in the refrigerated section at Walmart. The servings could be a tad more, I only received 4 sauces for 4 different meals with my take out order. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive two items that were requested. The staff was very friendly and polite. Not one of the first places I would pick but not the worst I have been to.

Having driven by several times (live in the area) and wondered how good it might be. So this night it was time to try it out. The place was empty as we pulled in. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Decided on food after looking at the big billboard menu. 3 meat combo to split. Went ribs, pulled pork, sausage. Okra, baked beans and added onion rings. The portion size was huge and they also have a pickle/onion/pepper station. The hot BBQ sauce is legit! The service was super awesome and the portion was large….the prices were very affordable… However the BBQ in my perspective is just ok. (I was raised On KC BBQ- I feel that I know BBQ pretty well) Don’t get me wrong I ate what I was portioned…. however the tummy ache (Grrrrrrr) later had me reaching for my phone to write this review. I have an iron stomach and this feeling was instant from the time I got home. It could just have been a fluke coincidence.. however it is what it is. I do think the service from the staff is worth giving it a try. Maybe my food Perspective is off. Either way thank you.
