Dally hand crafted and built this little work of art hidden right on the edge of the Perdenales River region of the Texas Hill Country. Beautiful Texas cedar/juniper bars, tables, cedar walls, and much more make Dally’s Down Under unique. He even enshrined historical coins, flintlocks, and other amazing pieces set in crystal clear resin deep in the bar tops.

Not too many places open after 8pm in Dripping Springs. My boyfriend and I came across this place our first night during our weekend getaway. Nice lil place that serves complimentary popcorn, wine, beer, and some bar food. Dally, the owner, introduced himself. Very friendly atmosphere.

Wonderful place. Prices are reasonable. They have some food (but not a lot, mostly bar food). You have to get the fries!! Staff was amazing. Best service I have ever had. Very clean. This place was definitely a place I will visit again when in the area. Strongly recommend for you to stop in and enjoy the atmosphere and the staff.

Trying to find a decent spot to grab a bite in this part of Hill Country is a challenge, especially if you want to avoid the overpriced and overcrowded brewery and winery destinations (really your only option, other than fast food). I’m glad I stumbled upon Dally’s and stopped in. The owner immediately said hello and I quickly felt at home among the regulars and the beautifully well-kept bar. I enjoyed my quick beer and bar food and would come back in a heartbeat for the company!

Fantastic bar, the best people you can run into, absolutely spotless, incredible stone and woodworking thru out all done by the owner. Great cold drinks, food, and conversation. You can’t go wrong. Live music was perfect and staff top notch!
