We had a really good time and han amazing dinner. As much as we love all the taco trucks and nooks in LA, we also cherish a good fancy Mexican restaurant like Damian. The ambiance is romantic, it was a full table dinner time but not loud. The food was delicious and creative. (The portions of food were not big. We were the party of 2, but had to order 6-7 dishes including dessert. They are all worth tasting tho.) Service was friendly and attentive. We arrived a bit early and had a drink at the bar. And they have wonderful cocktail menus. We enjoyed everything and definitely will visit again soon.

Lovely place to have dinner. I suggest dining al fresco in the patio as it’s so beautiful to have outdoor dining in DTLA even in the summer. Their service was immaculate, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We arrived early and were able to sit at the communal table inside to have some drinks and apps. I was new to Enrique Olvera’s restaurant and had no expectations but this place blew me away. These are fine dining prices but the portions were as described by our charming waiter Francisco so it was as we expected. And most importantly, everything was so delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to try next level super modern Mexican food. The cocktails were delicious too. Reservations are a must.

The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. They have very nice wine collections and drinks. The staff are highly knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. Being a vegetarian, I was worried about options, but they have some fantastic dishes. Overall great experience!

Chef Enrique Olveraf does not miss! Damian was soooooooo good! Lobster tostada, herby guacamole, quesadillas with incredible salsa verde, cochinita pibil burrito, and even fried chicken in a Pasilla sauce with pickled shishito peppers – all in a gorgeous space!
