Overall the food is good, the portions are large, so get ready to take half home. What was quite strange about that place — it was pretty empty on Saturday evening. The service is not super fast but taken into account they did not have many customers, it is understandable, hence forgiven. The the minor issues I did not like were the following. 1. They did not bring any knives and some of the food was hard to eat without it. 2. Pork was too fatty, but that could be a cuisine feature, so I am not going to judge on that.

I have ordered from this place a few times, and was satisfied, but today I was very disappointed. First, when I ordered on the phone for take out, one order was not available, then the second one also, I commented ” what is going on ” ? He got annoyed and said, we never had that, and why don’t you look at our menu online ” . Granted , maybe it was my fault, but he could have said it in a nicer tone.Worst part about it,half of the food are bland, I usually very generous with tips, but I was so mad, I did not give not even a penny.Will never go back there again, ever

Amazing, amazing, amazing! A small ‘Mom and Pop’ restaurant that serves the cleanest, tastiest, healthiest, large portions Filipino dishes, and friendly plus efficient staffs. Me and my family are grateful for this place, i have a delicate 85 year-old mother who won’t eat out anywhere else but there. I used to worry of her appetite, and not anymore, since we discovered Dampa. I’m proud to endorse this amazing place not only to Filipinos but everyone!

They are closed!!!! There was nothing on the website saying that restaurant is not open today. There was nothing on the door stating temporary closure. The work hours on the door say 11am till 8:00pm on Wednesdays. They took my online order for takeout. I got there, they are closed. The food may be good but management is not.

This is my go-to Filipino place whenever I come to east bay area. The staff were very nice. I tried at least half of their menu items, mostly delicious. I recommend their big bone soup, and their sausages were awesome. I look forward to being able to dine in again hopefully next year. I can use some great Filipino food now…
