We were pleasantly surprised at our most recent visit. The service was impeccable, the food left nothing lacking- perfectly marinated&seared cuts of brisket, short rib & other meats were prepared right at the table. The staff was pleasant, the restaurant itself was clean. The bathroom was the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a public setting. I have no complaints. We’ll definitely be back.

I knew I had to come here when they had all of the local influencers dine here. I have been to Damso twice in the same week. Some of my friends over 3x since the place opened in April. When you enter they have the high ceiling vents that take a lot of the smells out of the dining area. The restaurant is fairly small, but I do like how the music isn’t blasting and they have seating for all party sizes. At this time, they do not take reservations and its walk ins only. Very short wait times during the week.

When we arrived at Damso Korean BBQ in Woodmont Station, we added ourselves to the waitlist. On a Saturday night, we waited about half an hour for a table. It was nice that the host let us know who our server would be. I liked how our server (Scott) and the owner checked on us to ensure we didn’t need anything else and were having a good time. I liked the cool vibes the restaurant gave off. There were neon signs that said “Smile and Talk” and “Let’s talk about something fun!”. I liked how there were music videos playing throughout the restaurant. There was even a TV that taught you how to cook each meat. When we arrived at our table, the banchan and salad were on the table. The banchan consisted of kimchi, edamame, potato salad with apple, carrot, and cucumber, spicy radish, beansprouts, and pickled radish. The house salad consisted of mixed greens tossed in a Tonton ginger dressing. For drinks, I enjoyed a Soonari Apple-Flavored Soju. It was a bit too much for one person to drink. For appetizers, we shared the Haemul Pajeon, Corn Cheese, and Steamed Egg. The Haemul Pajeon consisted of savory pancake stuffed with seafood (mainly calamari) and scallion. I liked how the edges were crispy and tasted like a shrimp chip. The Steamed Egg didn’t have much flavor and could have had more salt. The Corn Cheese was different than the ones I’ve had at other restaurants. I think it has something to do with the type of cheese used. For meats, we shared an order of Bulgogi which was served on a sizzling plate and Marinated Boneless Short Rib. The latter was tender, juicy, and flavorful without the three dipping sauces.

Pretty good new kbbq place with a lot of nice free banchan (small dishes)! I came during their soft opening and everything ran pretty smoothly. I like that the vents are movable, so you can put it low and most of the smoke is removed very quickly (no more smoke-scented hair as a result).

We came late evening midweek, party of four. Overall, a great experience. We had the mixed combo for four, and it was enough for everyone. It did include this extra tray of precooked food and lettuce, among other things, which was nice.

Greeted by the owner , I think . Very accommodating , friendly . We were the first customers of the day . Ordered the rib eye , pork belly and bibimbap . I enjoyed the meat , the bibimbap was ok but maybe because I’m not a huge fan of it to begin with . The best – the onion salad , beautifully plated in a bowl .. never had an onion salad ! The meats were good – tip – eat them while hot , once it sits , the Rib eye dries out and tastes completely different ! Would go again and bring more friends! Price was reasonable, for 3 ladies we pad $25 each! And was very satisfied .

New restaurant as of the writing of this review in early may 2023. I dig the clean, modern look – hip but comfortable. The k-pop on the TVs tells you nobody will judge you for wearing sweatpants, but the $15 soju says you can wear a suit jacket and not feel out of place.

Good food, great service. The food quality is good but not the best especially compared to the many options in the area. Employees are nice and accommodating. Pork cheek meat and marinated boneless short rib are both delicious.

Good service along with the menu and sides. The radish kimchi was delicious along the meats cooked at tableside.

Good: quality meat. great atmosphere. scentless after the meal as the Korean style hood could drag so close to the grill it takes all the smoke directly out.
