Wente Louis Mel Livermore Valley
In 1883, C. H. Wente, a first-generation immigrant from Germany, purchased 47 acres in the Livermore Valley . Recognizing that the warm days, cool nights and gravelly soils of the Livermore Valley were ideal for growing grapes, he planted vines and founded Wente Vineyards. 130 years later, Wente Family Estates continue to be family owned and operated by the fourth and fifth generation Wente’s, Eric, Philip, Carolyn, Christine and Karl. Wente Vineyards also recognizes the need for both technology and tradition at their winery. The fusion of old and new is a Wente family legacy, from Third Generation Winemaker Karl L. Wente’s adoption of stainless steel fermentation in the 1960s, to present-day experimentation with yeasts and unique red wine press designs. The willingness to innovate and experiment has been a hallmark of the Wente family operations since they introduced the first varietally labeled Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Chardonnay in the 1930s. Ravens Zen Of Zin
Ravenswood Zen of Zin Old Vine / 14% ABV On a fall day in 1976, as ravens taunted from tree branches above, Joel Peterson worked doggedly to bring in four tons of grapes before a looming thunderstorm hit. The fruit he crushed that night was used for one of two single-vineyard Sonoma County Zins – the first wines to bear Ravenswood’s signature ring of ravens. Ravenswood’s “No Wimpy Wines” credo says it all – embrace the bold, abhor the bland. From our flock of Single Vineyard Designate wines, as unique as the individual vineyards they’re from and the people who farm them, to the County Series wines that capture the spirit of California’s best growing regions and the popular Vintners Blend bottlings sourced from vineyards throughout California, we strive to put what we pick from the fields right into the bottle. Unadulterated, unapologetic, unfussy, unwimpy. The same year America celebrated its bicentennial, Ravenswood’s founding fathers announced their own independence from business as usual, tying their success to the underdog variety that today is considered California’s heritage grape – Zinfandel.

Diora Three Crown
Diora is the culmination of a thirty-year vineyard-to-bottle journey at the Santa Lucia Highlands and our family-owned San Bernabe estate in Monterey. n 2000, Diora winemaker James Ewart journeyed from Australia’s wine country to San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey. He never left. James was intrigued by the famed vineyard’s outstanding viticultural diversity. Herze, the varying terroir spaces within the same vineyard allows the distinct and delicate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay clones to thrive, each bearing a unique expression of these renowned grapes. James grew up making wine at his father’s side and is one of very few winemakers to complete a graduate degree in viticulture, following an undergraduate degree in geology and chemistry. This gives James a deeper understanding of soils – an excellent perspective to have when selecting locations to achieve the richness and vibrancy for the wines of Diora. For Ewart, sustainable practices are paramount to quality winemaking. His philosophy is to enrich, not change, what the land expresses, respecting the balance and harmony that come when the right grape is planted in the right place.

Doc Swinson’s
The Doc Swinson’s Collection began with an extremely small cache of Bourbon Barrels that were just too good to pass up. It has since grown into a unique and on occasion extremely rare, collection of American whiskies. The proof is in the palate. Each whiskey brought in is personally tasted by the three of us at Doc Swinson’s. If it’s good we will find a place for it in either the Flagship, Exploratory or Rare Release series. When it comes to finishing techniques, we look to the old-world traditions that have stood the test of time, from Scottish whiskey blenders to the timeless sherry pyramids of the Spanish solera. However, sometimes we stumble upon a whiskey that needs no perfecting and we simply bottle at cask strength. Whatever whiskey comes through these doors, our small group of tastemakers at Doc’s work hard to create flavor profiles that hold our expectations of great whiskey to a higher standard; and that starts by always letting the whiskey shine.

George T. Stagg was born December 19, 1835, in Garrard County, Kentucky. While little is known of his early years, the impact his adult life had on the bourbon industry was quite impressive. Working as a whiskey salesman in St. Louis, he had the good fortune of teaming up with bourbon icon E.H. Taylor, Jr. Together they built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century. A leading industry expert at the time declared the Distillery “one plus ultra of its class,” the best of the best. Stagg’s salesmanship and financial acumen helped build the Distillery into one of the world’s leading bourbon producers. In 1904, the Distillery was rechristened to bear Stagg’s name, a title that was maintained for nearly a century. Today, Buffalo Trace Distillery strives to carry on the tradition of innovation and excellence of one of its famous forefathers. Iron Smoke
It all started back in 2011, in the backyard over some whiskey and a loaded smoker when our founder and chief trailblazer musician Tommy Brunett, came up with the concept of combining two great American past times: great bourbon/whiskey making with an added subtle hint of Applewood BBQ’s smoked goodness. Our internationally acclaimed NYS farm distillery in Fairport, NY is where the magic happens. The farm folk within a crow flying distance to our grain silos dump in their freshest and finest where our master distiller and crew ever so lightly smoke some of the grains on our handmade smoking machine. The apple wood smell is savored for miles by the locals. We’ve got giant brass tub stills shipped all the way from the underbelly of Kentucky from our good friends at Vendome. Our swill swirls, spins and churns until only the finest of the finest is aged properly, bottled and delivered to your own local watering holes. Whiskey up and enjoy!

Jefferson’s Reserve
Founded in 1997, Jefferson’s is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. They were continuing a family tradition that goes back to Trey’s 8th generation grandmother who was arrested in 1799 for the “production and sales of spirituous liquors.” To personify the brand, they chose Thomas Jefferson—known for his curiosity and experimental spirit. This is a mindset to which Trey has dedicated himself, pushing the boundaries of the definition of bourbon. Upholding tradition, yet always discovering new possibilities. Creating very uncommon bourbon is a journey. We seek out new and aged barrels of bourbon from established distilleries that have perfected their art over hundreds of years. Then we do some old-fashioned experimenting, building balance and adding complexity through different selection, agitation and environmental processes until we find the taste Jefferson’s is known for. The home of Jefferson’s Bourbon is located in the heart of Bourbon Country, and just minutes from downtown Louisville, at the Kentucky Artisan Distillery in Crestwood, Kentucky. A visit to the KAD offers guests the opportunity to learn the fascinating story behind Jefferson’s Bourbon while touring a small craft distillery and seeing the process of bourbon and rye production from grain to bottle. We invite you to enjoy the experience as uncommon as the bourbon!

Maker’s Mark
More than 50 years ago, Kentucky distiller Bill Samuels, Sr., founder of Maker’s Mark, set out to make a better tasting bourbon whisky. What he discovered was that if you used winter wheat in the mash instead of the traditional distiller’s rye, your bourbon whisky was smoother and less bitter…and that’s made all the difference. As distinct as the Maker’s Mark® taste are its bottle and name. Designed by Margie Samuels (wife of Bill Samuels, Sr.), the square-shape container was inspired by her collection of cognac bottles. In keeping with the look of the French spirit, Mrs. Samuels decided to hand dip the very first bottles in red wax in her kitchen home fryer—a process that has now expanded and has blessed millions of the famous bourbon bottles. Taking it one step further, Mrs. Samuels, a collector of English pewter, recognized that any worthy craftsman uniquely branded each of his creations with what became a personal “Maker’s Mark.” She deemed it a perfect title for her husband’s handmade bourbon. The iconic bottle and wax defines the care that goes into making each bottle of this hand-crafted bourbon. Since the first bottle sold in 1958, each bottle is still hand-dipped with a red wax by people, not machines. In 2010, the first new product ever for Maker’s Mark, Maker’s 46™ Bourbon was introduced. Maker’s 46 Bourbon is created by removing fully matured Maker’s Mark bourbon from its barrel, affixing ten seared oak staves to the inside of the original barrel, then putting the Maker’s Mark back in and aging it several more months. 46 is the number assigned by the barrel maker to the process he created specifically for this project.

Saint Cloud
Saint Cloud ™is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Crafted by Ray Walker, with experience making Grand Cru wines in Burgundy, France. Ray has excelled in making wines of character, borne of handwork and tradition, bringing a unique vision to the World of Kentucky Bourbons. Saint Cloud is a labor of love, created to bridge the connection to Ray’s family which dates back in Kentucky since the early nineteenth-century. Ray’s great-great-grand father, Louis Walker, fought in the Civil War for Kentucky’s “Company 48” Mounted Infantry, signing up for duty the same day that the battle of Gettysburg began. Louis’ father, James, was in the War of 1812, a battle that saw the U.S. allied with France. As such, James would become a Francophile, giving two of Louis’ brothers French names, Napoleon Bonaparte Walker (a Union Soldier in the Civil war) and Lafayette Walker. Their other brother, Samuel Houston Walker was also in the Civil War, fighting for the Confederacy at the same time. Our Bourbon is unique for many reasons, one of which is refinement. Produced on a micro- scale, we maintain quality and refinement above anything else. Our Bourbon is produced in a traditional manner, using a pot-Column Hybrid Still, without the use of many other modern aids and equipment. We use techniques that maintain the tradition of more than two centuries of Bourbon production, while using a perspective that comes ONLY from making Grand Crus in one of the World’s top wine regions. Uncle Nearest
Way back in LYNCHBURG, TENNESSEE, the name Nearest Green has always meant something special. His birth name was Nathan Green, but his family and friends called him Uncle Nearest. No one actually knows how he obtained that nickname, so we assume he was the “nearest and dearest” to so many who came in contact with him. Hailing from Maryland, one of the original capitals of whiskey making in the United States, we don’t know how or when Uncle Nearest made his way southwest to Tennessee. What we can confirm is he is the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States and thought to be responsible for helping perfect the Lincoln County Process, a requirement in being categorized as Tennessee Whiskey. It should be noted that a 2004 book misspelled Nearest as “Nearis,” based on an incorrect spelling on the 1880 census. His name has always been and will always be Nathan “Nearest” Green—or to those who knew him best, Uncle Nearest. Now, it’s up to each of us to share his story and to make sure he’s given his due respect.

Breckenridge
The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the International Wine & Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the 2018 American Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year. Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey. Breckenridge Distillery might not have happened had it not been for a fishing trip to the Mohawk Lakes near Breckenridge, shortly after Nolt had returned from Scotland, where he had searched for those super-rare spirits. In his mind, with a few employees and Breckenridge’s amazing water, there was a clear opportunity to make great spirits and “just revel in it.” “I didn’t expect it would replace my career by any means,”said Bryan Nolt, Founder and CEO, who still practices medicine on a limited basis. “But that was the motivation behind it.”

American Barrels
American Barrels Kentucky Bourbon / 40% ABV There are two things in this world American’s are quite proud of, their whiskey barrels, and their gun barrels; American Barrels tributes both. With this in mind we artfully designed our bottle fittingly as a shotgun shell, one coiled by and embossed with a classic American icon: The rattlesnake; Our motto: Live Free Or Die: a True American Spirit. It’s no secret the bottle is a knockout, but it’s what’s on the inside that really counts. American Barrels Bourbon Whiskey is ultra smooth and rich in flavor with a perfectly balanced caramel-vanilla finish. And at 90 proof, it’s been accused of being “too drinkable.” American Barrels is a younger bourbon, but don’t underestimate it. We drink our bourbon because it tastes good, not because it has been sitting in a barrel for 10 years, and after you take your first sip of American Barrels, you’ll be in awe of how good our bourbon tastes. We filter our bourbon through a unique post-barrel ultrasonic refinement process creating a taste profile its shelf mates only wish they could achieve. Not only does this system results in great bourbon to sip, shoot, or mix, but it also alleviates the burden of wait time in production allowing us to meet demand without problem or delay. Another perk is that this system essentially distills any potential hangover right out of the whiskey. Our bourbon is remarkably fine, and undeniably smooth (extremely smooth, dare we say none other smoother) there is no harsh burn, just a soothing warmth coupled with a delicious flavor. American Barrels is a beautiful blend of American Tradition and American Pioneering: Welcome to the new age of Bourbon. American Barrels was created, developed and recently launched by former Indiana University, current Florida Gulf Coast University, student and ice hockey player, Michael Reed.

Booker’s
30 years ago, my dad, Booker Noe, released the first batch of his namesake Booker’s® Bourbon as his vision of what the perfect whiskey should be. In honor of Dad’s legacy and in celebration of 30 years of the damn good whiskey he created, we’re celebrating in the best way we know how – by releasing a special extra-aged, limited edition Booker’s® Bourbon. -Fred Noe, Beam Family’s 7th Generation Master Distiller Over the last few years, the floors of some of our rackhouses in Clermont were in need of redoing, so we pulled up the floorboards. We thought it would be a shame to throw away so much history, so we stored them for something special. Each box of Booker’s® 30th Anniversary Bourbon is made from the reclaimed wood of those floors – the same floors walked by legends Booker and Fred Noe as they selected batches of Booker’s.

Whether it’s through my live shows or recording in the studio, I care about everything I do. I truly think everyone is going to enjoy Pardi Batch 112 and Pardi Batch Tennessee Whiskey. I can’t wait for the stories, the reactions, the reviews, and I can’t wait for you to go back and get your second bottle.” – Jon Pardi

Bulleit
Some years ago, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of reviving an old family bourbon recipe by starting the Bulleit Distilling Company. Inspired by my great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, who made his signature high-rye whiskey in the mid-1800s, I quit my job and risked everything to experience life on the frontier. I have never looked back. To this day, Bulleit Bourbon is distilled and aged in the Bulleit family tradition. High rye content gives it a bold, spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. Kentucky limestone-filtered water provides a foundation for the bourbon’s character, while charred American oak barrels lend a smoky backbone. Our aging philosophy is simple: we wait until our bourbon is ready. As Bulleit enthusiasts know, rye has always been our cornerstone. In this tradition, we’re proud to present Bulleit Rye – a straight rye whiskey made from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It’s a whiskey with unparalleled spice and complexity.

Devils River
That’s what makes Devils River Whiskey the decorated, smooth small batch whiskey you enjoy today. Legendary Texas Ranger, John Coffee Hays, named this powerful waterway the ‘Devils River’ in 1840, and from his ingenuity, our namesake was born. The naturally-filtered limestone spring water is considered the purest water in Texas. The iron-free, sweet spring water is ideal for crafting an unrivaled Sinfully Smooth Whiskey. It’s purity unmasks all the delightful nuances we worked tirelessly to emphasize in every sip. Here’s to living a life that’s never short of extraordinary. Devils River Whiskey. Texas Ranger, John Coffee Hays, was one of the first explorers to find Devils River. At that time, the river was known to explorers as the San Pedro, named for St. Peter. Hays stood at the rough waters, peered into the deep canyons of this powerful river, and deemed it worthy of a much stronger name – The Devils River. We honor John Coffee Hays’ legacy and the spirit of adventure by protecting the Texas landmark that is Devils River. It’s blue, vibrant water serves us well by offering the purest foundation for our whiskey and the inspiration to seek adventure and passion in all that we do.

Four Roses
In 1884, Paul Jones Jr, moved his thriving business to Louisville, Kentucky, where he opened an office in a section of historic Main Street called, “Whiskey Row”. Four years later, he trademarked the name Four Roses, claiming production and sales back to the 1860s. In 1922, the Paul Jones Company purchased the Frankfort Distilling Company. In 1943, Seagram purchased the Frankfort Distilling Co. primarily to acquire the most noted and recognized name in the business at that time – Four Roses’ Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Even though Four Roses was the top selling Bourbon in the U.S. in the 30s, 40s and 50s, Seagram made the decision to discontinue the sale of Four Roses’ Kentucky Straight Bourbon in the United States, and Four Roses was moved to the rapidly growing European and Asian markets where it quickly became and still is a top-selling Bourbon in both Europe and Japan today. In 1966, a young man named Jim Rutledge, who would later become one of the world’s most legendary Master Distillers, joined Seagram in the Louisville Plant’s Research and Development Department. In 1975, he was transferred to Corporate Headquarters in New York until 1992, when Jim asked to return home to Kentucky to help with the Four Roses brand. In 1995, he replaced Ova Haney as the Master Distiller. For the next several years, Jim worked tirelessly to return the Four Roses brand back to the States – a dream that would become a reality in hands of a new owner. In February 2002, the Kirin Brewery Company, Ltd. purchased the Four Roses Bourbon brand trademark and production facilities. The new acquisition was named the Four Roses Distillery LLC. Shortly thereafter, Four Roses was once again sold in the United States and quickly earned the reputation of being one of the most notable names in the Bourbon world. In August 2015, Jim Rutledge retired as Master Distiller and Brent Elliott, who had worked alongside Jim for 10 years, became the company’s new Master Distiller. The people who work at the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY and at our warehouse facility in Cox’s Creek, KY continue the legacy that began with Paul Jones in 1888. Their passion for quality and pride in handcrafting an award winning Bourbon is evident in the smooth, mellow taste that has become the signature of the Four Roses Brand.

Old Rip Van Winkle
The Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery has a four generation history. The Van Winkle family’s involvement in the bourbon industry began in the late 1800s with Julian P. “Pappy” Van Winkle, Sr. He was a traveling salesman for the W.L. Weller and Sons wholesale house in Louisville, traveling around the state by horse and buggy. Pappy and a friend, Alex Farnsley, eventually bought the wholesale house and also purchased the A. Ph. Stitzel Distillery, which made bourbon for Weller. They merged the two companies and became the Stitzel-Weller Distillery. Their prominent brands were W.L. Weller, Old Fitzgerald, Rebel Yell, and Cabin Still. In May of 1935 at the age of 61, Pappy opened the newly completed Stitzel-Weller Distillery in South Louisville. He had a heavy influence on the operations there until his death at the age of 91. His son, Julian, Jr. took over operations until he was forced by stockholders to sell the distillery in 1972. The rights to all of their brands were either sold with the distillery or to other distilleries. After selling the distillery, Julian, Jr. resurrected a pre-prohibition label, the only one to which the Van Winkles kept the rights, called Old Rip Van Winkle. He used whiskey stocks from the old distillery to supply his brand. Julian junior’s son, Julian, III took over in 1981 when Julian, Jr. passed away. Julian, III has continued with the Van Winkle tradition of producing the highest quality wheated bourbon available. His son, Preston joined company in 2001 and the Van Winkles look to continue that tradition for generations to come. Recently, the Van Winkles entered into a joint venture with the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. All of the Van Winkle’s whiskey production now takes place at Buffalo Trace under the same strict guidelines the family has always followed in order to produce a superior quality product. Aside from the rich family history, Van Winkle bourbons are special for another important reason, their recipe. All of the Van Winkle bourbons are made with corn, wheat, and, barley instead of corn, rye and, barley. This “wheated” recipe gives the bourbon a much softer, smoother taste and it also allows the whiskey to age more gracefully.

Rabbit Hole
way from my beloved Scotch. I fell in love with her and Bourbon at the same time, and for much the same reason: charm, beauty, elegance. She pulled me down a rabbit hole I might never have dared alone, to the countryside of Kentucky, the progressive vibrancy of Louisville, and, inevitably, to Bourbon. Bourbon was a revelation. Neglected for decades, undergoing a Renaissance of both quality and vision. The product of Kentucky’s corn and pure, iron-free water; aged by the region’s hot Summers and cold Winters in barrels hewn from native oak; Bourbon reclaimed its birthright: American to its core, genuinely ours, unlike anything else in the world. I had to be part of it. There may be no better place to shape a new whiskey than Louisville. World-class expertise can be found down every street. When I said Rabbit Hole would build on tradition to create something proudly modern, it captured the imaginations of some of Bourbon’s best. They took their amazing understanding of what whiskey is and helped us imagine what whiskey could be. They dove into the unknown with me and did not look back. Vendome Copper & Brass Works makes the best stills in the world. Only a few blocks from our distillery, they’ve custom-built a 24-inch copper column still just for us. This takes center-position at our operation, a point of pride for us, and for the craftsmen who built it. Kentucky’s weather challenges a barrel. The hot Summers push the liquid into the wood and the frosty Winters draw it back out. Every round trip adds color, flavor, aromatic depth. It takes a strong barrel to make a good whiskey, and ours are the best. They’re crafted by Kelvin Cooperage, with its roots in Scotland and its heart in Kentucky’s Bourbon Renaissance. Purists say great whiskey should be sipped on its own. Maybe a splash of branch or a hunk of perfectly clear ice, if so inclined. We think whiskey deserves more than a center-stage monologue; it does wonders when paired with fresh ingredients and other fine spirits. We’ve partnered with Proprietors LLC, a team with storied reputation in hospitality who literally wrote the book on craft cocktails (Death & Company: Modern Classic Cocktails). Together, we’re creating a bar and restaurant befitting not just our love of great whiskey, but celebrating its rightful place in the world of creative, modern mixology. Never, though, forgetting its rich past. Neat, on the rocks, in a cocktail – we love em all.

Smoke Wagon
The raised imagery of desert sage, the Nevada state flower, can be found on the Silver Dollar bottle as well as the amber Smoke Wagon bottles and in the label of the Straight Bourbon. The Morgan silver dollar (replicated on the bottle’s face) was minted in Carson city, the state capitol. It is the perfect symbol and name for our vodka due to its Nevada significance and the fact that silver dollar vodka is silver filtered. Smoke Wagon? Does that mean it’s smokey? Smoke Wagon is actually old west slang for the 1873 Colt single action army revolver or “the gun that won the west”. Our logo stamped in wax consists of two crossed Smoke Wagons over the state of Nevada. Below it is our motto and a quote from Seneca, bibamus moriendum est. The literal translation is “drink, for we must die” but the meaning is more along the lines of, drink and enjoy today because we won’t be around forever. We can only assume Seneca meant to drink responsibly, of course.

W.L. Weller
A true distilling pioneer, W.L. Weller is credited with being the first distiller to produce Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey using wheat instead of rye in the mash bill. Weller’s original “wheated bourbons” became extremely popular, with a softer, smoother taste. They were so popular, in fact, it’s been said that Weller was forced to put a green thumbprint on his invoices and barrels to ensure that customers were receiving the real deal. After serving in the War with Mexico as a member of the Louisville Brigade in the 1840s, Weller returned to Louisville to take part in a family tradition of whiskey distilling. After the introduction of his original wheated bourbon in 1849, Weller, along with his brother, founded a very successful bourbon trading company. Weller marketed his product with the slogan, “Honest Whiskey at an Honest Price.” Weller’s namesake company eventually went on to merge with Pappy Van Winkle’s A. Ph. Stitzel Distillery to form the Stitzel-Weller Distillery, becoming renowned for such brands as W.L. Weller, Old Fitzgerald, Rebel Yell and Cabin Still.

Jefferson’s Reserve
Straight Rye Whiskey Finished In Cognac Casks / 47% ABV / ounded in 1997, Jefferson’s is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. / Nose : Cinnamon and honey. Flavor : Spice, nutmeg and citrus. Finish : Extremely long with oranges and honey.

Whistle Pig
In 2010, WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey was released to great critical acclaim. Though the whiskey is new, the WhistlePig farm has a long history. Revolutionary War veterans cleared much of the surrounding forest to settle and farm following the war. The land was nearly continuously in cultivation until a dairy farm shuttered its windows in the early 2000s. In 2007, Raj Peter Bhakta purchased the farm, which is certified organic, and now raises cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs. The fields yield alfalfa, rye, barley and oats. WhistlePig is 100 proof, 100 percent rye whiskey and aged for at least ten years in new American oak and Bourbon barrels. Additionally, WhistlePig Farm in Shoreham, VT is America’s first single estate whiskey distillery. These specially selected grapes create the distinctly fresh and smooth taste of CÎROC Vodka. It was once recognized that grapes grown in higher elevations worked best to create an optimal flavor experience. Elevation = Colder Climate = Freshness Retained. Historically, vodka has been made from a natural local source of fermentable sugars and starches. But CÎROC is an innovation in French craftsmanship, resulting in an unexpectedly fresh vodka experience. Unlike grain-based vodka, CÎROC Vodka blends traditional techniques with contemporary processes to create a spirit of exceptional quality and taste.

Silver Dollar
Silver Dollar American Vodka (NV) / 40% ABV The raised imagery of desert sage, the Nevada state flower, can be found on this bottle as well as Smoke Wagon bottles and their gift boxes. The Morgan silver dollar (replicated on the bottle’s face) was minted in Carson city, the state capitol. It is the perfect symbol and name for our vodka due to its Nevada significance and the fact that silver dollar vodka is silver filtered. Stamped on wax and embedded in an amber bottle (the color of most 19th century whiskey vessels), there are two crossed “smoke wagons” (slang for the 1873 colt single action army revolver) over an outline of the state of Nevada. You’ll find below that our motto, from Seneca, “bibamus moriendum est” literally translated “let us drink, for we must die,” or more loosely, drink and have fun because we won’t be around forever. We’re assuming Seneca meant drink responsibly.

Bare Bone
Bare Bone / 40 % ABV We decided to create the best possible, homegrown, small batch, hand built vodka that we could, with no frills, no bull, but as smooth as hell. Something built on the old fashioned, straight-talkin’ principle – ‘exceptional quality at a no BS price’. We called it ‘Bare Bone’ because we put everything into what matters, ‘the vodka.’ It’s a two grain bourbon style vodka distilled in Houston, Texas. Blending the European style of wheated vodka with the American corn style, creates a clean, crisp mouth feel of the wheat with the touch of spice from the corn. So the ’no bull’ bit, is how we make it. We hand blend the best American corn that has been six times distilled, with the finest triple distilled wheat grown in the US. Then we chill filter the liquid before the final touch, triple charcoal filtration. Bare Bone, Damn Good Vodka without the Bull. Taste it and be the judge. True Blended Vodka – 80% Corn & 20% Wheat, American grown Corn for spice & sweetness Wheat for a round, creamy mouth feel Hand blended for a smoother finish Gluten Free

Simple Man
Simple Man Distillery, Gullah GeeChee Gin / Georgia USA / 43% ABV / Simple Man Distillery partners with local Georgia farmers to create world class spirits with a Southern Soul. We do things the hard way. This is because we hustle around the state securing fresh ingredients and make sure they are processed locally guaranteeing that all our sources are fresh as can be. Driving a truck around Atlanta rush hour with more than a ton of fruit in the back can make your knuckles permanently white. The industry norm is to order ingredients from a wholesaler and have everything nicely processed from a distant land while being delivered to your doorstep. Fresh just doesn’t happen. We go get it. The Simple Man Distillery name was chosen for two reasons. The first reason is a belief that a simplified life is more satisfying. When we complicate matters and misplace our priorities, trouble and strife finds us. Justin was tired of traveling in previous jobs and realized that his family is a top priority. Helping coach his kids’ sport teams and volunteering in our community provides a sense of peace and fulfillment. The second reason Simple Man Distillery was created is out of love for our neighbors. Simplifying our ingredients in our food and drinks is just the right thing to do. Georgia is an amazing state for produce and agriculture. We have many different regions that provide so many world class fruits and vegetables. From the mountains of Ellijay rolling through the Piedmont into plains and coastal regions, our neighbors that are hard working farmers shower us with the fruits of their labor. Farm-to-table restaurants and breweries are highlighting these noble endeavors, but spirits seemed to be a missing piece. Simple Man Distillery is designated “Georgia Grown” by the Georgia Department of Agriculture for using local ingredients to produce here in Georgia. The alchemist who concocted the unique recipe, grow the organic botanicals that give Simple Man Distillery’s Geechee Gin its lush and fragrant flavor.

Hendricks
HENDRICK’S GIN is infused with the curious, yet marvellous, essences of rose and cucumber, delectably supported by no less than 11 botanicals from the four corners of the world. This whimsical concoction produces a wonderfully refreshing gin with a delightfully floral aroma. There are now 10 hands toiling together in the gin palace under the direct supervision of our Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. Each batch of HENDRICK’S GIN is crafted just 500 lovely litres at a time. It is how HENDRICK’S GIN started in 1999 and how it will remain and allows Lesley, greater control of her careful artistry. HENDRICK’S GIN is distilled in not one but two utterly dissimilar sorts of still. The two leaders of this particular ensemble of stills are the Bennett, an antique copper pot dating right back to 1860, and the Carter-Head, hailing from 1948 (of which only a few exist today). The Bennett steeps the botanicals in spirit overnight prior to distillation resulting in a rich, complex liquid. Whereas the Carter-Head gently steams the botanicals in a basket atop its lofty neck, so influence is imparted upon the spirit in something akin to a botanical steam bath. This yields a lighter, more delicate spirit. The harmonious combination of the Bennett and Carter-Head stills create an unusually smooth gin like no other that has the required character and balance of subtle flavours. The HENDRICK’S GIN Palace hails from the tiny seaside village of Girvan, which lies in Ayrshire, south-west Scotland. The distillery lies just a mile inland and overlooks the mysterious volcanic island of Ailsa Craig. This alluring outcrop lies uninhabited, save for a few gannets and puffins, but features in many local legends. HENDRICK’S wondrous botanical signature consists of flowers, roots, fruits and seeds from the world over. They function to complement and set the stage for our delicious duet of infusion: rose petal and cucumber.

Monkey 47
Monkey 47, Schwarzwald Dry Gin / Germany / 47% ABV / Monkey 47 gin has been created 60 years ago and is currently available in over 50 countries on four continents. This brand takes its name from its composition: 47 handpicked plant ingredients prepared in a soft spring water from the Black Forest. Wing commander Montgomery “Monty” Colins was posted in Berlin after World War II and became devoted to the rebuilding of its Zoo, through which he came to sponsor an egret monkey by the name of Max. He then moved to the northern Black Forest region where he opened a country guesthouse, “The Wild Monkey”. Nostalgic of British long-standing traditions, chief among them a good glass of gin, he developed a natural and regional basis recipe of Black Forest gin: juniper, pure spring water and a variety of special herbal ingredients. Monkey 47 Distilled from 47 predominantly unusual botanicals such as lingonberries and blended with natural spring water.

Every bottle sold gives back to ocean conservancy charities. It’s available only as a blanco, and we received a sample for review. This is no gentle blanco, this is a big, aggressive tequila that makes its intentions known from the start. The nose is huge with fresh herbs, black pepper, and a sharply lemony sweetness. It smells like blanco tequila made with the pedal pressed all the way down: bold and beautiful and ready for either sipping or mixing into a cocktail. There’s a creaminess on the palate that immediately settles the tequila down, percolating notes of (sweeter) lemon curd, apricots, and pineapple. There’s plenty more pepper, racy agave, and gentle almond notes on the lasting finish, all of which serve to add complexity, never detracting from what is, from start to finish, a delightful ride.

When was the last time something great happened to you because you followed the traditional path? See that’s the thing about a well worn path—if it’s the same one everyone takes, you’re going to end up in the same place as everyone else. To get to new places, you have to make your own path. With that philosophy in mind the Herrera brothers set out to buck tradition. The result? A singular tequila that is second to none. A dense celebration of floral notes and caddied fruits with hints of spices emerge first. Notes of jasmine twirled with nuances of passion fruit, themselves flirting with ginger and nutmeg. Touches of roses and iris are dancing with elements of fig, prunes, in turn being sustained harmoniously by layers of sandalwood and honey. Four generations of cellar master have succeeded each other to produce these intense aromas that persist more than an hour on the palate.

Comedy and live music in Alpharetta! Be sure to make a reservation for any of the shows. We went for an early dinner on a Friday and found out they were fully booked for the show later that evening. We enjoyed the drinks and a few appetizers including flatbread, Buffalo cauliflower and lemon pepper wings. We will be back – but with reservations next time.

Love this place! Great atmosphere for a drink. They have great STAND UP COMEDY every Wednesday night and comedy showcases once a month! it’s awesome to find a place that supports stand up comedy in Alpharetta. The food is top notch. everything on the menu is good but, the BURGERS and SKULL WINGS ARE ON ANOTHER LEVEL! Great place for live music and on Tuesdays they have a music open mic where you can sign up and jam with a live band. This place has an atmosphere unlike anything else in the area and host all kinds of performers on their stage, local and professional. There’s always something going on here! Very cool place to drink, eat, go on a date, and enjoy live comedy and music.

We went for dinner and drinks. The food is okay, nothing spectacular but it’s not overpriced. The drinks were also okay, the beer tap lines probably need to be cleaned. The atmosphere was great. The band was the Denim Arcade and they were loud but fun. For as small as the bar is the sound was too overpowering. Overall it was fun. Go and check it out.
