This place has an awesome BBQ smell as soon as you walk in the door. First time visit, but will not be the last. We enjoyed the Turkey, Sausage, Brisket, and pulled pork. All were great in taste and texture. Sweet BBQ sauce was very tasty. Not a fan of the potato salad. Baked Beans were fantastic.

The food is always great. I discovered it a while ago, and it is the best bbq I’ve had since I arrived in NC 2 years ago. Place was packed because I know they all agree with me of how good the food is.

The BBQ is fine, but the sides, apart from the cole slaw, are blah. Would suggest to add better side options like sweet potato fries, fried okra, and corn bread. Also, I hate the guilt tipping tend at checkout where you have to select a tip or no tip. In the age of COVID, checkout should be completely touchless.

It wasn’t terrible and I think if I liked that style bbq I would have quite enjoyed it. Someone told me it was Lexington style. The fries looked delicious and the jalapeno cheese sausage were delicious.

Coming from Memphis we have a lot of bbq. I heard good things about NC BBQ. So I had to try it. The ribs were cooked really well. The flavor of the meat was well seasoned. Good food, but the ribs are St. Louis Ribs. Potato salad was good. The NC vinegar sauce was different. I’d give it another try to try the brisket.

Food will always be awesome, but when did it become so ridiculously priced?! $17 for a small plate and soda.

Danny’s was just meh. It was food. Not the greatest BBQ I have had. The chopped was good but the upcharge for dry brisket was a mistake. The Brunswick did not have any flavor either unfortunately. I had plate envy of my colleague that got the wings. They said those were good.

Solid BBQ offering in easy-going counter service environment. There’s a mix of BBQ and fried foods here. I tried the brisket (as one might expect for NC), ribs (good), fried catfish (excellent), green beans (meh), mac n cheese (good), and fried okra (excellent). Danny clearly takes his frying seriously and that pairs well with BBQ!
