I purchase mix rice with pigeon peas & a whole chicken from this restaurant. I was very disappointed because I read the reviews & they’re positive. However, the chicken is so dry that I needed several glasses of water to be able to swallow the it. The rice was also very dry, it tasted as if the cook didn’t use oil or anything to moisten it up & hardly any beans. They need a different cook. Beware! They charge extra if you use a credit or debit card. ♀️

Huge portions, great prices. Granted food service is a hard job but the staff could have paid a little more attention to my friend’s drink order. Overall a good experience and we are more than happy to come back in the near future. PS the meat is super tender.

Came in a bought a medium roasted chicken plate with rice, beans. I also bought an empanada. The empanada was fresh out of the fryer. The chicken was RANCID. It was literally sour and bad. I called numerous times with no answer. I finally was able to get through to someone told them the food was rancid and not to serve it to anyone else. I had to FIGHT with them to get my money back. Then they made me come in to get a refund instead just crediting back my card.

Awesome lunch special. It is a great price for the amount of food that you get. The flavors are rich with plenty of the usual Puerto Rican spices. This is my favorite Spanish spot so far since moving here. Use cash if you can in order to avoid the credit card fee
