Haven’t stopped by here for very long time, but as a Burger hound I had to try again. Getting a real freshly patted burger with the works only a few do in lake Co. Usually frozen patties and they charge same. I was not disappointed. Delish, 1/2 lb. Fresh beef. Grilled onions, bacon, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Toasted bun, fries were very good, and the cobbler, was so good. This burger hit all the rite notes, just maybe lil over cooked for me. I like lil pink in center and tried Cole slaw, very bland. But over all bomb. I will be back.

Hands down… one of the best barbeque places for me. The owner is wonderful and the service is quick. I LOVE their cobbler and I would always bring some back home to my family in Sacramento. This is one of my favorite stops to make while travelling northeast for work.

This place is an absolute icon of Americana in food, decor, and charm. The oak-smoked BBQ’d meats are made on the porch. I wish it had room to sit people inside, but the tables out back are nice or you can eat in your car. Everyone has their favorite things so go with your instinct when ordering. My personal favorites are brisket, garlic fries, barbecue sauce and peach cobbler. Ashley likes bacon and avocado. The house dog likes the burgers, raw. Side dishes are made from scratch the old fashioned way: potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw. Try the coleslaw with pulled pork or tri-tip.

Danny’s has the best smoked ribs in town, Tri tip and chicken also available that has been cooked in the smoker, and his sauce is great, I think it’s better than Kinder’s sauce. Many sides available, also todays Cobbler fresh baked.

Excellent BBQ. Actually can taste the smokiness from the wood it’s cooked over. They make their own salads too so you don’t have to be afraid to order them. They are not from a can.

Awesome BBQ and the owner is very attentive to his customers. My two young daughters were starving when we arrived and he overheard one of them saying how hungry she was. He promptly gave them a container of fries at no charge and made them very happy. This shows how well he takes care if his customers. The food is delicious and cooked fresh everyday. Try the garlic mash potatoes if you can get there before their sold out.

You can smell the bbq from down the hwy walk in felt like home was greeted with that lower lake hospitality the food was outstanding will have to return for some brisket and desert thank you and see you soon
