Great spot for casual dining. Enjoyed getting a booth, also people watching the Father’s Day clientele. Our waitress was the niece of the owner and a great ambassador to this classic family diner. The steamers were generous, plump and tender, served with mugs of clam broth (yum). Had the lobster and it was hard-shell and packed with meat. Hubby had the seafood platter which was generous enough to take home for lunch tomorrow. Perfectly fried in pristine fresh oil, what a difference it makes. Exactly what I was searching for and it made my month to be there.

Stopped in for appetizers and a drink. The little necks and steamers were super fresh! The bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. The staff and owners are friendly and the prices are reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!

We had lunch here yesterday for the first time and I have to say everything we ordered was excellent!! We had the clams casino, seafood chowder and shared the seafood platter!! The seafood chowder had whole shrimp and large pieces of scallops! The seafood platter consisted of scallops, clams, shrimp and a large portion of fish and French fries!! Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious!! I haven’t had seafood this good in a very long time!! We’ll be back!!

This is a great place for family, run by family. Food is great, staff was attentive and personable. Five of us ordered five different items and all enjoyed them! THIS place upholds the New Bedford reputation for the best seafood in New England!

It’s definitely a bar place with dining booths. Had fish and shrimp plate. Food portion was good. Staff adequate, but running around a lot. Parking was a little challenging

The fish and chips were extremely greasy and soggy. The fries were dark brown and overcooked, swimming in oil. The fish seemed under cooked as the batter was soggy inside. There were also bits of clam shell stuck to the batter. Rather than risk food poisoning I threw it all away and ordered from my usual spot. Money down the drain, very disappointing, I won’t be back.

The food here is great, the service is as well. The pricing is very reasonable. Sometimes ppl will pile around the door waiting to be seated which seems a little crowding but that’s my only issue and it’s not that big a deal

Been going here for years. Today you ruined my moms Mother’s Day and the bartender could have cared less. So disappointed. Ordered clam boil with lobster yesterday. Today I picked it up and no lobster. I specifically asked yesterday. They ran out. Not compensation. I was upset and was told “do you want me to just pull one out of nowhere” “go to market basket” Horrible customer service. You should be embarrassed.

This restaurant isn’t much to look at I’m going to tell you the service is absolutely wonderful the people there are great they treat you just like family and a good way the food is absolutely delicious I’ve had a lot of their food items there and they’re just delicious and the prices are right so if you want to go somewhere for some seafood are some steak that’s the place to go
