Delicious, quick, inexpensive and easy parking…what more could you want from a small, local restaurant. We recommend the loaded potato pierogi to start. We will be back to try other pierogi flavors (about 8 different ones if I remember correctly). Canned beverages and slices of yummy desserts also available. Dine in, take it to go and frozen foods for a later meal are all available.

My team and I ordered lunch from there the Friday before pierogi fest and we were met with amazing service, fantastic food, and such reasonable prices. It’s hard to find a restaurant this amazing anymore. The cashier even ran out to my car to hand me food we forgot. I can’t thank them enough for the absolutely amazing experience we have had.

Wow what can I say. I got their stuffed cabbage and loaded potato all for under $10. The loaded potato was my favorite. It so much flavor and I want to comeback for more. Nice staff with enough space for a quick dine in. A gem of a place in Highland, IN.

Had the potato pierogi poutine which has gravy and cheese curds. I wish the cheese curds were warmed. It would’ve made it so delicious! Instead they were . I will come again the try other things, but the potato pierogi was definitely delicious!!!!!

I had the potato and cheese, meat, and mushroom pierogies. All were good but, the mushroom and meat ones were amazing. Also got a polish. Also good. Nice little place. I would recommend to everyone.

I had their pierogis at the Dino Day in the Park in Schererville. 6/23/23. The shredded meat pierogis I purchased were not good. The meat was dry and powdery, I was disappointed. The last few times I’ve gotten pierogis at their place of business I got severe diarrhea. I didn’t realize this was the same place. But I didn’t get diarrhea this time so that was good. The staff usually seem pleasant so maybe I’ve been just unlucky with the items I get.

I stopped at the mobile at an event this weekend and ordered 6 cheese pierogies. Took a bite and they were potato and cheddar. I went back and said “I ordered cheese pierogies” and was told “yeah, those are cheddar cheese.” I have never in my life ordered cheese pierogies and been given potato and cheese. They were two different options on the menu, so if I wanted potato and cheese, that’s what I would have ordered. If that’s the case, please ask your customers if they would like potato and cheese or sweet cheese since you’ll just hand out anything with cheese in it and call it day. They were also very under cooked and doughy.

Definitely 5 stars.. everything about Dan’s Pierogies is top notch..the food. the atmosphere. the customer service. Drove up from Kentucky for a weekend visit and stopped in for an early Saturday dinner.. the BEST POLISH FOOD EVER!!! My wife is a very picky eater and she enjoyed the potato pierogies and a Polish sausage, plain, and ate every bite. Highly recommend .

Amazing pierogies; I also had a pulled pork sandwich which was excellent. We stopped on a visit to Highland and left happy full with frozen pierogies, stuffed peppers, some soup and a couple of types of sausages. We will definitely be back.
