This was the first time I had ever had Dante’s. Just the smell from outside in the parking lot was a good indicator that this was going to be some bomb pizza. As soon as I walked into the shop, a smiling greeted me and checked me out. I did have to wait a little bit for the large Everything Pizza to be done, but it was delicious. It’s definitely worth the wait. This hole in the wall is definitely going to be a go-to. The little seating area was also a plus; quiet and intimate.

My parents use to get Dante’s every Mon or Fri: K-12 grade for us, in the 90s and early 2000s! Once a week we would eat their pizza, then play board games. We occasionally still get it for our kids and they love it as much as I did as a kid! It’s always a treat and I’m telling you been the best in town for decades!!!!

Dantes Pizza has great tasting food. We placed a carryout order for a pizza and several subs. The pizza was ready for pickup as promised and was piping hot. Really nice staff!!! We want utilize the dining area on our next “pizza day”.. be prepared to pay with either cash or check.

This is the best pizza in Columbus as far as I’m concerned. Been eating here since the mid ’70s . Only one ownership change when long term employees purchased the business a few years ago. Not much has changed and that’s a good thing (miss the dark dining room and juke box lol). There are many fine, established pizza restaurants on the north side of Columbus that I like. If you ask my opinion on the best, go to Dante’s !!!

I can’t believe I have left a review before, but Dante’s pizza is my favorite in cbus. My family has been getting Dante’s since before I was born, and I doubt we will ever stop. Aside from the food itself being great the atmosphere is comforting and the staff are all amazing. Whenever I come home to Columbus for the holidays, I always immediately go for Dante’s and it never fails to be a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone.
