Got the large cheese steak. My lord it could feed a family a four. They were super busy on a Saturday night. Forgot to bring my salad. Which was OK because I just got it to go. We had so much food. Next time I will have to try the pizza. Wish they had beer on tap. But they had a good selection of bottles! Recommended this place for sure!

Dante’s pizza and cafe is the best! We’ve been going here for decades. ❤️ Seriously the best pizza in town and the steak sandwich cannot be beat! We highly recommend trying it. Anything you order is going to be delicious. My family can’t imagine life without Dante’s. Great ranch dressing too, always ask for more.

Dante’s Pizza Cafe in north Stockton, California has a full-service sit down restaurant and takeout business. We ordered a large California combo pizza with extra thin crust and a half-sized Cobb salad. The pizza was $31.80 before tax, loaded with toppings. The extra thin crust was very thick. The taste of the food was amazing and the two ladies working at the check-out counter were awesome and friendly. I ordered our items over the phone. We were told to wait would be around 45 minutes and that was accurate.

It’s been a while since we’ve been here. We all had a craving for pasta and Dante’s did not disappoint. The pasta dishes come with a nice size salad and garlic bread. The salad included garbanzo and kidney beans, topped with 2 slices of tomato and lots of cheese. The garlic bread was toasted perfectly with lots of butter and garlic flavor. The spaghetti was a huge bowl filled with linguini noodles and just enough meat sauce. I added 2 meatballs, which were about the size of a fist. They added a nice touch to the spaghetti. My husband enjoyed his seafood linguini. Again, the bowl was filled with noodles and had a good amount of seafood.

Service was exceptional. I really liked the bread sticks and marinara sauce. I got the vegetarian pizza which was not bad but a little too much dough for my liking. Overall a good place to eat.

Place was busy, but it was Saturday night. Waited a out 15 mins for a table for 6. Waiter was great! Always attentive if we needed more refills or anything else. Got a pepperoni, combo, and bbq chicken pizza. Pepperoni was table favorite but it did have a lot of crust and it was rather thick. Other 2 pizzas were good also. Hot and ready in about 15 mins.

OMG, I just got the shock of my life. $102.59 for two large and one medium pizza. GOOGLE MAPS HAS OLD PRICES. A large speciality pizza is NOT $27.80 so do not use the Google menu tab for prices. It’s fairly accurate for listing what Dante’s server but not the cost. I thought $27.80 was pushing it for a large pizza but it’s damn good pizza. Now at $33.50 for a large I’m inclined to pass. I must really love my family to splurge on Dante’s. Usually only my son-in-law gets a gift certificate for his birthday gift, now who knows!
