Been driving by this place for years wanting to try it and finally did. Ordered a meat lovers pizza, mozzarella sticks and a chicken ceaser salad. All were great! My wife said it was one of the best pizzas she’s ever had too. Her only “complaint” was there was a lot of croutons in the salad but did what a logical person would do and just didn’t eat them all but it’s great if you are like me and enjoy a bunch of them in your salad. Definitely would eat there again

I drove about 40 mins to try this, I was not disappointed. The pizza was like nothing else I have had. Never been to Detroit so I can’t speak to how authentic it was but it looked like pizzas I’ve seen on TV and the like.

Biked past here in the morning and saw the sign for the Detroit style pizza. Vowed to come back and changed plans to make it that evening. Previous photos made the pizza look like a work of art and my experience confirmed that and did not disappoint. Just the right amount of crisp all around the edges of the rectangle, the pepperonis were curled up and the dough nice and soft in the middle. There were just two employees working their butts off, one in the kitchen doing all the cooking and the other guy out front doing a great job of helping the customers and making everyone feel welcome. All around a great experience.

We didn’t really enjoy our meal here, but it wasn’t the fault of the restaurant. We were hungry after a day at the beach and looked for non-chain pizza restaurant to grab dinner before heading back to MA. We came here and ordered, not knowing what it meant for pizza to be “Detroit Style”. Turns out, “Detroit Style” means a thick crust and LOTS of cheese. This was far too heavy for us (our preference is for thinner crust and less cheese), but the pizza appeared to be was well made and the service was pleasant.

The pizza was good. Good pepperonis and liked the cheese. Crust was golden and crispy but a little greasier than I’d like though I feel like that is how this type of pizza is made. I’ve never had Detroit style pizza before. Definitely nice to try a different style of pizza. I do wish there was more sauce so I will have to ask for more on the side next time. Absolutely worth trying!

Drove by all the time and finally stopped to try it. I got a pepperoni pizza. It was super greasy and the sauce seemed like crushed tomatoes from a can. No seasoning. My friend got a chicken parm sandwich and the cheese was on the bottom and same crushed tomatoes just on the top. No sauce all over the chicken. I wouldn’t go back.

Stopped in on way up Wells. This is perfect spot for a great Detriot Style Pizza! Many options and good selection of drinks. Pizza was very light and fries were great. I would 100% recommend this to anyone that is going to be in the area

This pizza is better than I deserve. The middle is soft and melts in your mouth. The edges are crispy and make me cry small tears of satisfaction. I wish I strong enough to eat 6 of these pizzas tonight. Unfortunately I am a weak little boy and I only finished 1. Serve Dante’s pizza at my wedding. Serve it at my funeral. Cater it for my kids birthday parties. Maybe I’ll even have kids just so I can get this pizza for their birthdays.

The person taking the order really couldn’t be bothered.. 43$ and a 5$ tip for seriously burnt chicken tenders and “Detroit” style pizzas. I feel sorry for the folks of Detroit if this is their representation. It was Luke warm at best and the sauce had tasted like it been sitting in the fridge for a few days the cheese and dough were right I guess but didn’t live up to the pictures that made me excited to try this place for the first time. I could taste that the fry oil hasn’t been changed in probably a week or more from when it should have been … disappointed in a place I had high hopes for, because I love all styles and flavors of pizza and tenders but man 50$ for what I got just doesn’t seem right.
