What a neat display of antiques. The old jail was pretty cool….and the books. ❤️ Everywhere you looked there was something, The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The staff very helpful and kind. Will definitely be back when in Boulder again.

Stopped in with visitors the other night. Passing time before an event. Hadn’t been here in years and it was a blast from the past. Plenty of neighborhood people and quite a few college kids. Trivia night and a game playoff tv night so it was packed solid upstairs and down. Everyone was having a good time and it was fun to spend a few hours there. It’s good ol bar food and self service, same at the bar. Fun place for time travel or to hang with friends for a bit. A Boulder tradition for many many years!

Whether you come in during table service or when you have to order at the window, the Dark Horse is an experience not to miss. The food is great! The atmosphere is amazing!
