Super slow at making the food- we waited 40 plus minutes on food and there was about 3 other tables some of which already had their food. I have given this place 3 tries and each time the food takes forever. They said it was because a health inspector was there – I can understand that but 40 plus minutes for eggs, bacon and hash browns is ridiculous.

Why is it that the servers cannot give ack the correct chang to you . Not everyone pays with a card ! The bill the other day was $13.89 I gave her a twenty dollar bill and had the gall to ask me if I needed change. Lol of course I do. So she gave me 6 dollars back and not the other 11 cents !! I was with a friend of mine and she done the same thing to him as well. That is stealing and I will not tolerate it. The owner is to lazy to have a cash register so they can make the right change. Now that 11 cents adds up over a period of time with as many restaurants that he owns now. Bad business practice to steal from your own customers !

Darrell’s Diner is an old-time Diner. The waitresses are attentive and make sure that condiment bottles are wiped and organized. I really would like to see some Northern specialties, bagels and locks and cream cheese would be perfect. Specialized coffee, and some updating within both diners would make it more attractive and upbeat. With the improvements that I think would be good for these establishments, it is great now but it would be much better.

Waitress told the kitchen that we didn’t want our English muffin. We wanted butter on the English muffin and she originally brought out one with margarine. We asked her for a new one with butte. She even she said she was working on it at one point. When .I ask for the replacement she told the kitchen that we didn’t one. We never said that. She proceeds to cover for herself by saying there’s no butter so we wouldn’t want it. I’d like to make my own decision and not have the waitress lie about it.
