Cool Dude
Ordered the jerk pork but had no jerk taste. Tasted like plain smoked pork. They did give a jerk sauce on the side that was good. Portion size is small. The pinapple coconut cake was good but it’s actually a rum cake with a piece of pinapple on top with a little coconut. Beef and chicken patties are good.

First time here and I got the honey lime jerk salmon, rice and peas, and vegetable stir fry. Everything was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfect, and the sauce was on point has just a little kick to it not too much, the rice and peas cooked perfectly and the taste was delicious the vegetable stir fry delicious. My drink selection was the pineapple cream soda which was good. The spot was clean, staff friendly. Come check it out if you haven’t already. I will be back.

The place is more like a carryout with a few seats in it… the music is nice thats it. The food is delicious but if you I dont like hot/spicy leave that chicken alone. The fries were delicious..I had the old bay ones. The white rice was a little undercooked

I went there today to get the salad and wanted to add a piece of salmon. I saw a fly (yes a nasty fly) on the top piece of salmon so I told the server that there was a fly on it. She took the spatula and lifted the salmon up and turned it over and put it back into the pan. Safe to say, I didn’t get the salmon salad

First and last time here. I was in the area visiting family. I’m Jamaican so I was happy to see this restaurant. My son and I went in the young man with the locs was rude, zero customer service skills. That was the first impression but still decided to give it a try. The cooks are not Jamaican which is why the rice and peas taste like Mexican red beans and rice. The jerk chicken was not good. This is not authentic Jamaican food. This is not how we cook. It’s probably fine if you don’t know any better. Very disappointed after spending $36 on two dinners and 1 patty.

The sides didn’t look appealing and from other reviews, that seemed like the best judgement. I had the jerk chicken so that’s all I can speak about… It was okay, the sauce on the side had more flavor than the actual chicken. Would I come back? Probably not- Only as a last resort

First time here…couldn’t give a 5star because took a while to get served even with a very short line, but the wait was worth every Penny. I don’t care for the race who cooked but the taste of what is cooked. Very flavourful and delicious. We had the jerk chicken and pork salad and plantains. Definitely will go back I’m already convinced the taste is worth the drive from Bowie to Waldorf. Great food
