Papa should be proud of his offspring. Cucumber salad side was the effect foil for the richness of my cheesy grilled turkey sando. Fries are crisp and fluffy inside.

I really wanted to like this place, but the sandwich I got was not good. The corned beef was chewy. I couldn’t eat half of it. It was like biting into a sandwich with bubble gum in it. I’d chew for a bit, realize the food wasn’t breaking down and then have to spit it out. Not a great experience.

This place is the real deal, with great sandwich’s. We had the lox bagel and the Papa hot pastrami sandwich and black and white cookie. All were so delicious- the highlights were the soft bread and the freshly sliced pastrami. The cookie was also a surprising stand out. So good.

Ohh man do I love this spot. Everything is top notch, the papa is my favorite followed by the BLT. Plenty of parking, great service, outdoor seating and tons of choices for old school deli deliciousness in modern packaging.

There are menus posted on the windows so you’ll be ready to order when you step up to the counter. They only have outdoor seating but we had no problem getting a table. The view of heavily traveled Sunset is interesting. We saw several tour buses and even a delivery robot. I had the Nana, corn beef with sauerkraut and cucumber side. Hubby had chili. I would def order the same again. I did not try them, but the french fries looked delicious and fresh. Parking is tight here but a lot of cars are only picking up so the spots open quickly.

Got The Papa and it does the Deli biz proud. Very lean chunks of pastrami with cheese and coleslaw. The. Cucumber salad not so much, tasted like a leftover.
