Hello there! I have visited Davanni’s Pizza & Hot Hoagies in Roseville, MN, and have mixed feelings about it. While the pizza menu is extensive and offers a variety of toppings, the atmosphere was a bit dirty and could use some improvement. The service was just okay, nothing special to write home about. Overall, while the food was decent, the ambiance and service could be better.

They didn’t add my green olives to my Rosa pasta or black olives on my bf’s. Forgot my granddaughter order completely. Not happy. The food was still good, but service, or cooks suck.

The best thing I can say is that the pizza was hot. All the toppings were on one side of the pizza, and there were blobs of cheese on the other side. The pizza sauce has absolutely no flavor. It was just nasty.

I have only ordered for carry out at this location. The ordering in person or by phone is what one would expect: greet customer, take the order, thank customer and give estimated “ready” time, call customer’s name when order is ready. The food is always great, and that is why I order it: signature pizza sauce, signature bread for the hoagies. Atmosphere is average, the place is clean with lots of seating to choose from. Overall it’s a fine place for a deep dish pizza and a hot hoagie.

What a five star meal the chief put on tonight. Our pizza was up to the Dave Portnoy standard and would have received we believe an 8.9. The wings were gigantic and sauced beautifully. The hoagie looked like something from the brochure. Each layer of meat and cheese and onions poking out of a pillowy grain bread. Perfection. Even the brownie was eloquently prepared and booming with chocolate frosted mountains. We will go back to Sweden where we are from and tell everyone of the village of Roseville where the hoagies have an almost spiritual connection to the land, but more importantly….to it’s people

Better then Lexington Davanni’s ,we live closer to the one in Shoreview, Lexington But not good food Quality to me, Not consistency . We stopped going there Unless you what to eat with a Jacket or coat on; fans too fast. every body in there is eating has one on, also makes your food cold fast. Consistence Good Quality Food (AT Roseville). It is always freezing cold on Lexington ( Not Roseville). So go to the one in Roseville

Stopped in for a veggie deep dish on a snowy night- so good!!! Davanni’s deep dish crust is always very consistent- perfect thickness and crunchy- never soggy. Cook did an amazing job, workers were working hard (even though we were the only customers in there). Definitely will be back.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the food here. After a long day of shopping at the Mall Of America me and the family were very hungry. Thankfully we made it in time before they closed. All the food was delicious. Don’t know when I’ll be in town again, but I’ll definitely come back here one day.
