Great place for Italian food, one of my favorite for the past few decades. You always know what you’re going to get and it’s always delicious! Normally love Davanni’s but had a disappointing pickup order tonight. I ordered a whole assorted hot hoagie which includes smoked ham, salami and mozzarella and chose ciabatta bread. I also removed tomatoes and onion from my order. After bringing my order to my car and heading home, I realized my hoagie was completely wrong. I was given wheat bread, seemingly a turkey hoagie with onion and tomato. I was looking forward to my hoagie and have always had great food at Davannis but was disappointed when my entire order was wrong tonight.

Good, average food, reasonably priced. Bland is how I would describe it. Ciabatta bread option was great. Bathroom toilet was a little “days old dirty” but really nice ADA compliant facilities. I would go again but only if everyone else wanted to.

I was in Minnetonka a few weeks for work and found myself at Davanni’s every other day. Each time I got a chicken, bacon, and chipotle hoagie on ciabatta and it remains my favorite hot sandwich I’ve had.

I was glad to see that the reasons I have liked Davanni’s have returned. My last visit there a few months ago was disappointing with not getting the toppings right to the whole pizza just being off. They had a serious lack of workers so I chalked it up to that. This experience was positive and pizza was hot with correct toppings and service help were polite and helpful. So glad my faith in Davannis has been restored. 🙂

Nice restaurant, friendly employees. The prices are a bit high though, especially with their extra delivery fees added on. Also, the pizza should have more cheese and toppings for the price you pay. Used to be one of my favorite pizza places in the area. In recent years though it’s become pretty average.
