Everything here was top notch, and the atmosphere inside is incredibly charming! Higher price point, however the service, quality of product, and vibe all impress. They opened a new location in downtown Naperville recently that is also incredible.

$76 without tip for chicken piccata, glass of red, a side of steamed broccoli, and less than half a head of cauliflower. Waited forever for our food. Initially got the “gnocci” – actually only 11 balls of uncooked dough stuffed with tasteless cheese. Husband said his chicken was cooked poorly and “rubbery”. Waited forever for my new dish – the cauliflower. No bread offered while you’re waiting for your food, even with the long wait time. Steamed broccolini alone was $16! Husband is celiac, and cauliflower had bread crumbs on it, even though not mentioned on the menu. This place is just awful.

My husband and I went here for a nice pairing of wine and dinner. We were fortunate enough the wines were from Spain and did this whole experience not disappoint! From beginning to end the food and the wine pairings were great. We love having Chris there to tell us more about the wines and the tones in the wines as well. It was pretty neat since he recently traveled to Spain so he gave us some background as well with each wine. Enjoyed other guests company and meeting them as well. We ended up purchasing a few bottles to bring home to enjoy for later . I can’t wait to be back in the future for more of these events!

Loved our meal! We shared a bunch of menu items including the cauliflower, Brussels, the burrata, a burger and a pasta. So happy we did this because I got to try many of their items. Each dish was exciting for different reasons and they do a great job with anything labeled Chili spice. Nothing was spicy as I can only handle enough added for flavor and this was executed perfectly. I think my favorite was the burrata not just because it tasted delicious but because of the bread they chose. I’ve had many dishes in other high end places where the choice of bread was crucial and was poorly done. Not here!

This is a place I will for sure come back to on my radar It was my timdining in we were greeted with Courtesy & Attention To Detail by Riley the Waitress I had the Whipped Ricotta/w Honeycomb Spread tfi bite had me mesmerizing every flavor & crunch one of a kind tastes. 15 minutes after settling in I decided to order the Rigatoni/w Mozzarella very creamy & smooth. Then the final round being desert I ordered Tiramisu Overall I had an amazing time 10/10 Recommend

My husband, child and I went to this restaurant tonight to celebrate the end of the school year. This is our fifth visit in the last month. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was as well. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer that showed up just after our entree arrived due to a simple mistake. Because of that, the manager comped our entire meal, which included 3 pasta dishes, an appetizer and a couple glasses of wine. They went above and beyond in addressing this small inconvenience. Davanti Enoteca is our new favorite restaurant. We highly recommend!

We had a terrible dining experience here today. I asked the waiter for recommendations. He suggested the Caesar salad with salmon. I received a bowl of drenched salad with a very large whole piece of overcooked, unseasoned, dry and rough salmon. I tried to eat the dish but it was awful. My daughter got pasta that was like rubber. It had clearly been reheated. All of our dishes came out at different times. The waiter never checked in with us until he offered dessert. I declined. He asked if we needed boxes. I declined again. He never asked if I enjoyed his recommendation or if any of us enjoyed our meals. We didn’t eat them and didn’t take them to go either. My son did have a rather mediocre cheese pizza. The highlight of the evening. It’s disappointing. I frequent their location downtown and have been loyal to Francesca’s for well over a decade. I will not return.
