I just found my new favorite BBQ place! My husband and I got there for lunch and he ordered the brisket platter with Mac and cheese and potato salad. I ordered the smoked turkey with potato salad and coleslaw. The turkey and brisket were perfectly cooked with a rich, well seasoned smoky flavor. Their original bbq has deep smoky notes with a hint of sweetness that is out of this world good. The potato salad is very heavy on the dill and I tend to prefer traditional southern mustard salad, but it was good just not my favorite. The coleslaw was creamy and crisp. I can’t at gluten but my husband said his Mac and cheese was very good and cheesy. Overall, I prefer this place over Red State!

Very impressed with this local BBQ place in Georgetown, KY. Heads up: Google maps led us to the back of the building. I had the sliced sausage & corn pudding. Well worth it! Friends had sliced turkey & pulled chicken. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Classic rock playing. TV on, but not the sound. Patio seating also available. Unique key lime pudding for dessert. Service was very friendly & patient. Several drink options. I will be back next time I’m in the area!

Fantastic experience. The baked potato with pork belly and fried red onions was delicious!!! (I got the extras on the side.) Ribs were yummy. The owner and staff were welcoming and friendly. Restaurant is exceptionally clean. Will go again soon! (Baked potatoes are a weekly special served only on Wednesdays.)

This is great bbq! It’s not the best bbq I’ve had, but if you are in this area, this is bangin bbq. We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, bacon ranch pasta, candied bacon baked beans, corn pudding, Mac n cheese and coconut cream pie. Brisket was excellent, moist, tender, juicy and a bit fatty which made it delicious. Pulled pork was a bit bland. Flavorful if you added the bbq sauce. For the record, I did not like the bbq sauce, it was too ketchupy for me. The other people in the group liked/loved the bbq sauce. It’s thick and well seasoned, I just prefer more molasses sweetness. Ribs were great alone with the dry rub, no sauce needed. The spices in the dry rub have a deep yet not too spicy taste. The meat is fall off the bone, juicy, and super tender. Bacon ranch pasta salad was sooooo good. Perfectly cooked pasta with the right level of ranch spices. Baked beans were very good, the candied bacon makes the beans extra special. Coen pudding was fresh cornbread packed with corn, super moist. Man n cheese was ok, pasta was aldente but sauce was queso from a can. Coconut cream pie was ok, it was sweet but nothing to report back that was outstanding.

We are big fans of local BBQ and decided to try out Dave’s. First off, the menu will make you want to order 1 of everything! We went with the Sampler platter…choice of three protein & 2 huge sides for $24. We had Pulled Pork, Brisket & Smoked Sausage with Candied Baked Beans and Potato Salad. That brisket and pork melted in our mouths! Potato salad was fantastic…reminded me of my Mom’s…chunky diced with onions, pickles. Baked beans were okay.

Wow! I grew up in Texas and am picky about my brisket-this is perfect! Some of the best I’ve ever had. The sauces are also very nicely done. I had the Cole slaw-enjoyed it, pleasant crunch and good flavor, not too sweet. I also had the onion straws-it’s a big portion and they are seasoned and fried to just the right texture. Can’t wait to come here again! (Funny story-I was behind Dave the owner in line at Kroger. He had 3 giant briskets in his cart and I jokingly asked for an invitation to wherever he was cooking them. He told me about the restaurant and we came straight over!) Yum! Come hungry -you won’t be disappointed.

Incredible bbq. Ribs and Brisket didn’t require chewing and the flavor was amazing. Won’t get into specifics but witnessed an incredible act of kindness by the owner while we were there. That alone would make us return but the food was worth the trip out of the way for us.

I had seen Dave’s pop up on my FB page and had been wanting to try it. I’m glad we did!! Everything from the sweet tea to the pulled pork, baked beans, & the bacon ranch pasta salad was soooo good! Best pulled pork I have ever had! We will definitely go back! Also got to meet one of the owners. He was the best! Go try them out! You won’t be disappointed!

Travelling through from Wisconsin, we had the pleasure of experiencing this ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE establishment! We got to not only experience some of THE BEST BBQ we’ve ever eaten, we got to witness a man I can only assume is “Dave” perform one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL act of human kindness. This man, and his restaurant deserves a four star food review and a four human review as well! Thank you sir ❤️
