Got the “hey Dave” comes topped with slaw, banana peppers and horseradish. Not any of my favorite things, but on this sub, the flavors mixed together so well I didn’t even notice. Sub was a good size for the price also. Will be trying more of their subs

Great little local Cleveland chain. Comes with a hippy, laid back vibe. Sandwich took about 10 minutes to make during the peek of the lunch hour. Not a lot of seating so more of a grab and go. They have a large menu with something for everyone. The regular sub is big enough for me but there is an extra large one probably best for sharing.

Recently came out to grab a sandwich. They didn’t have a Google Pay POS and I didn’t have cash on me so I had to leave without getting food. Great place, definitely won’t be my last time visiting and the service was friendly and understanding. They explained that they’d be getting updated POS machines soon. I caught the manager before she was leaving for the day and she understood the issue right away and took the time to explain the situation to me.

It’s probably been 15 years since Ive had anything from this place. The first time I went there, I was waited on by Dave himself, who is a true a hole that treated his customers like dirt. Not only that, what I did get wasn’t very good. My friend convinced me to try it again. I got the “Grateful Dave” and coleslaw. The coleslaw was so salty that It was inedible. The sandwich was about the same quality I would expect from a gas station. The pickle was actually ok. I’m not going to try this place again to see if the third time is the charm.

Dave’s is everything you’d want out of a local sandwich chain, except it’s way better. The ingredients are always super fresh, they’ve got a HUGE menu and always let you customize to your heart’s content, and the staff is always very friendly. The classic rock decor and memorabilia lining the walls (and ceiling) make this a worthwhile stop at any of their locations, and don’t be afraid to get a sub or two to go! They keep well and are great for days after purchase. Bonus points for the great name…

Ordered a romaine wrap, same as I get at any other Dave’s cosmic SUbs. They uniformally all make it the same, except this place. The “owner” started whining because he didnt know how to make it. Then when I claim the other places know how he said “this is the original and we are all privately owned ” the food is good but the owner of this one needs to take a step back and learn customer service. It seems like he couldn’t do anything else in life and his parents bought him a sub shop
