Stopped here many years ago on our way to Cleveland (from Buffalo), when we were searching for a good sandwich stop en route. Absolutely loved it, so now it remains a mainstay on our future trips. The Cosmic Sauce is excellent on almost any sub. I often go with an Italian sub, or the Italian sausage. My wife likes the Turkey (wit extra banana peppers). Highly-recommend.

We used to get daves every single week. They have discontinued a lot of sandwiches, increased price (like everyone else I get it) but then lowered the quality of some ingredients. I have a hard time calling ahead to pick up a sandwich which used to be super easy they don’t seem to answer the phone so I need to go in store. I really hope to see them return to the former glory.

Vegan meatball sub review: meatballs were above par. Bread is and probably will always be the best part of any sub on their menu. Sauce was ok. Cheese was not good as it was not melted fully. Probably soy based which doesn’t melt well. Would suggest changing to a cashew based cheese as they melt much better and customizing the flavor is fairly simple with minimal labor. Nice to have a sub again though

This place has really gone down hill. I used to LOVE this place. I started going here many years ago starting with the original one in chagrin falls. It was really great food. Now the quality and customer service has completely went away. Today we ordered subs and the entire recipe must have changed because they’re using different meat now. On top of that they used an absurd amount of oil on the sub for some reason. The places are loaded with teenage kids who aren’t supervised or trained properly. They mishandle your sub , forget toppings and most of all they were extremely rude and didn’t want to refund us our money even with us bringing it back. Now we’ve wasted our time our gas money and we are still hungry. I would highly recommend not going here.

I’m an out of town stand I drove past and decided to stop in. I got a corned beef sandwich. WOW! What a unique flavor. The homemade coleslaw was killer! I’ll be back. The concert posters were sweet too.

Middle of lunch on a Friday, store not too busy, didn’t have bread on hand to make an order. Even if business is slow you should have at least enough bread to make an order, especially Friday lunch.

Very little wait, and the meal is always fresh and delicious! Never any old or “soggy” veggies. The dining area is a little tight, but it hasn’t been crowded for a couple years (for obvious reasons). And personal enough that you (customer!) can shout back to the cooks if you have a special request, like “extra crispy” or whatever. Nice little locally-owned shop and I’m glad it’s around to take folks to from out of town.
