I decided to try out Dave’s Deli & Catering it’s located a block away from the East L..A. courthouse and also the Metro Gold line in East L.A… I was very curious about Dave’s Deli my wife and I went to have lunch at Juan’s Rotisserie Pollo it’s next door. They have the menu on the windows showing what of kind of hot and cold sandwich including salads and other items they make in the restaurant.

I just recently had the pleasure of making a pit stop in Dave’s Deli. The creme brule cheese bar was moist and delicious. Pairing it with a caramel iced coffee was a delightful treat to my afternoon. The dining area was a bit boxed in, but comfortable for standing while dining. Thank you to the chef and cashier!

The sandwiches are packed with a lot of meat and very delicious.The Jr salads are enough for two people. The only problem was the smoothie. I ordered a creamsicle smoothie and it was just orange juice blended with ice.

$14.94 for a turkey wrap? I thought okay, it’s got to be big and full of meat. Definitely not the case. Barely any turkey in the wrap. Quite honestly the most disappointing wrap I’ve ever had. What a rip off

Very good food, with a large menu.. The service was super slow took forever to get the food . I’m not a huge fan of having to sit and eat outside, but I guess it’s better than only having takeout. I would go back here, despite how slow they were the food was worth the value.

I tried this place for the first time today and it was delicious! I have lived in ELA since I was a kid and have never gotten around visiting Dave’s deli. I went in today because my usual spot was closed and I was really craving an egg and cheese crossiant. Thankfully they had it in their menu! I also ordered a Caesar salad for lunch & an iced coffee. I don’t usually buy coffee from places that don’t have an espresso bar but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried their brew! It was amazing. The staff was also really sweet. Shoutout to Destiny for making me a great cup of coffee. I will definitely be back.

Wow!! Best pasta I think I’ve ever had in my life. We saw Dave’s Deli & Catering on an episode of “Worth it” and had to try it. I got the bolognese w/ homemade tagliatelle and a big burrata on top. My husband got the porcini with tagliatelle. Omg one bite of either one was a nearly religious experience. I still need to go on Sunday to try the carbonara (my fav pasta) but I have no doubt it’ll be incredible. We have to drive 45min each way to eat here and it’s still worth it. I never knew pasta could taste this good. Dave’s Deli & Catering is INCREDIBLE!
