In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We were out looking for a quick bite and stopped in. Dining room was clean, the guy that took our order was really nice, and the kitchen was really clean from what we saw. There’s chicken, fries, and milkshakes. The Dave’s sauce comes with your food and they happily offered extra.

How can you not feel good when walking in Dave’s Hot Chicken!? The bright vibrant colors, the lively music and the smiling faces. The service was above what you’ll expect at a fast food place. The guy at the counter was very helpful and after sitting in the dining area w my food, the manager came to check on me.

We stopped here after going to the Howell melon festival. I know who Drake is, I don’t know much about his music but his chicken was no slouch. Big portion of chicken on slider and tender. Fries were good. I would hit this place again if I was in the area looking for a good piece of chicken.rebecca did a great job explaining the menu.

Too bad but the overall experience was enough for us not wanting to come back. Too loud environment way too noisy for dining enjoyment. The dining area echos sounds at an amplified level. The floor is slippery at the order counter and sticky at the dining tables

Had an opportunity to stop by this new location of Dave’s. Employees where nice and inviting and offered different options that made our experience great and saved us money in the end. Chicken was good and we had the “hot” and it had good flavor, the slaw was good also, fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The tables were clean or organized. I enjoyed my meal and I would go again! #hotchicken #welchrealty
