In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Very good. Probably the best all around meal I’ve had from a restaurant in a while. These guys did everything well. Fries were great, chicken was juicy and crispy and seasoned well, it came with extra pickles if you’re into that. 10/10

Great spicy chicken with a nice crunch! Never 2 busy and service is fast! This location isn’t as crazy compared to their Fullerton location and I think it’s actually a bonus as it’s never to crowded and never a long wait for your food! The urban decor is fresh and the service is great! It’s always consistent!!

I recently had an experience here that prompted me to leave a negative review due to receiving bland chicken and encountering a cold attitude from the staff. However, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and I’m glad I did. On my recent visit, I actually encountered a similar issue with the chicken, but this time the response from the staff was entirely different. They were courteous, the manager personally apologized, gave me the benefit of the doubt, and we spent quite a while trying to figure out the root cause of the issue together, which was also appreciated. Overall, I was valued as a customer, which is all that I wanted last time.

Food was decent, idk why they call those sliders those are whole sandwiches. Combos don’t come with drinks. I don’t usually care for the crinkle cut fries but at least they know how to cook them here, mostly crispy. The slaw was good but they put a hilariously small amount, I need the slaw. If you’re 2 people just split the 2 slider combo, it’s plenty of food.

Today was my first time here. I’ve been seeing them pop up all over the place and figured I should make it a point to try it out. All in all it was pretty good. The seasoning on the chicken was good and the chicken was juicy. I got the slider and fries. I got it at a heat level of Hot. I actually thought that hot was going to be hotter, so next time I’ll have to try the very hot one.

4.5 just because extra hot was mild to me and the sandwich needs more kale slaw. I need to feel the burn… delicious and hot. Got #3 with a side of cheese sauce. Everything including the fries were hot and crispy. Fries were seasoned well. Tenders weren’t dry. Pickles were crisp with a little kick. Wasn’t busy but I went on a weekday in the evening.

Chicken was great (10 chicken tenders = $42), over pricey but tasty, employees on the other hand…. receipt jammed, ok, I’m patient but I need one for taxes… they try to print duplicate but its missing items. They fix it, but now it’s missing the gratuity. “What do you mean your receipt system doesn’t include gratuity? Isn’t it part of the expense?” They said “you’ll have to check your bank statements. ” .. what?!.. Forgot to make milkshake. No worries, I’ll wait more. Forgot the extra sauces… Free fry was nice to try and make it up, but nobody ate them. Step yo game up, Dave!

The sandwiches and tenders are amazing. With a lot of levels of spice to start at 9:00, there is something for everyone. I would suggest trying the honey on your sandwich as that actually turned out to be very good for me which I did not think it would be. No one in my family could finish two sliders as one is plenty. The fries are very good and seasoned. The mac and cheese is delicious, the only thing was the kale slaw was quite bland. Can’t wait to taste the milkshakes next time.
