In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Fire. Just fire. Meaty sandwiches, spicy bites, and creamy sauce all combine to a great spicy chicken experience. If you’re dining in, the tables were clean, staff was nice and drinks/sauces were plentiful. Will come again if I’m in need of spicy sandos.

Got takeout a few nights ago and not only was the flavor on point, but the presentation when I opened the to-go box was impressive! I guess I expected it to look messy since it was takeout but it looked awesome and everything tasted amazing. You can tell whoever packed this meal did it with care. Would definitely order again!!

I ordered #3 and wasn’t disappointed. The chicken was cooked perfectly, I got the reaper level heat and it was pretty hot but not as hot as I like. Their sauce is good and I think their slider bun is quality.

Best Dave’s Hot Chicken in Orange County hands down. They have a drive thru too!! I’m normally used to waiting for a while for my order to come out but the service was pretty fast. Ordered the combo #3 and it was soo yummy, i have 0 complaints. They made it perfectly. The customer service was also very friendly! Will for sure come back. Man, it was so good!!

I love fried chicken and eat Korean fried chicken often. I found Dave’s chicken to be excellent. It will definitely be in the rotation for future fried chicken cravings. The chicken had plenty of kick and was juicy and not dry. I got the “Hot” and will probably get a notch below “medium” since I’m getting old and can’t handle my heat as well as I used to. Recommended!

Monday night I was tired and came to this place to try something new, I ordered one slider with a side of fries with little mild spice level. And there was a option to tip but I didn’t have to, no one is it’s not a requirement especially in this kind of food places. I got it to go, when I came home and open the box I see a dreadful chicken on a walmart sourdough and bunch fries that soaked in oil. First of all I ordered a Slider with little mild spice level and I’m 100% sure that was not the slider, the slider looked different on the picture, but they shoved me a freaking BRICK ON THE BREAD and one bite you’re teeth is out, from one bite my mouth was full of unknown spices and I did not taste a chicken, maybe there was no chicken. Very bad place to eat at night and terrible customer service!
