In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Ordered a #3 mild tender and slider combo to share since it was our first time here. Chicken tasted like taco seasoning was used for the flavoring it was gross. The restroom was filthy i dont recommend this restaurant overall as a whole. Wont be back – cashier was super nice though which is why i gave 3 stars for service

We were running errands and pulled in here for lunch based on a friend’s recommendation. We weren’t disappointed. Wife got tenders-mild. I got them-hot. The order came up in a couple of minutes fresh and hot. The chicken was tender and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Not overly breaded like a most chicken joints tend to do. Fries were crispy and the sauce was delish. Very good. My wife thought mild was perfect, but I thought the hot wasn’t hot enough. I’ll have to upgrade to extra-hot. Wish it were closer to my home.

I got the second hottest chicken that they can serve here and it was pretty spicy and mind you I can handle hot food but it’s just a way their seasoned chicken is made. That’s got me to definitely want anybody to try it out. Great for family outings or even just to take your loved one on a date…. Or if you just want to come here alone. Either way, they got you 100%!

One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve tried. The chicken wasn’t dry. It was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. The coleslaw they put in the sandwich taste great! Also loved the sauce they add into it.

Super fast and nice service! I had a good time chatting with the girl taking my order, who recommended the cheese fries to me. The menu is pretty small and limited, but they certainly specialize in the hot chicken. I ordered the medium flavor and it was a bit much for me, though I don’t have a high heat tolerance in the first place. It did taste excellent, though, and I enjoyed the Dave’s sauce to go with it. The interior was clean, which I appreciated. They’re a little pricey for what they offer but I would say they’re worth it!

First time here and wasn’t disappointed. Juicy chicken had a crunchy crust that was sweet and hot at the same time. Tasty dill pickles. Sliders had pickles and slaw and sweet buns that didn’t fall apart. Fry’s were hot and crispy and great for dipping in Dave’s special sauce. Can’t wait to go again!

Usually this place is pretty good but they made a mistake on my order and didn’t take responsibility for it. We order a medium spice and they have given us either extra hot or reaper. I usually don’t give bad reviews especially here because this is one of my favorite chicken spots. Today I ordered my usual, a single tender and slider combo. When I took the first bite I noticed something was wrong with it. I wasn’t worried and asked my family to try as well. Surely, the spice level was way over medium, the level we asked for. It burned my tongue and the heat stayed for a while before going away. It wasn’t bad or anything, just way, way, way hotter than usual. I called the front desk to confirm and tell them about it and that’s what got me upset. The person on the phone said that they all spiced the chicken differently. But this was wayyy different from just accidentally making it a bit spicier, this was atleast 5x spicier. She refused to admit fault and that was that. Food was great, a bit of a mix up but its okay, service was not and made me feel not taken care of.

This chicken sandwich was amazing. It completely exceeded all expectations. The heat level was as advertised. There are several levels to choose from all the way down to no spice at all. The sauce that they put on is absolutely amazing and the pickles are perfect. And the fries were crispy and perfectly done. Absolutely recommend this place. Definitely going back for more.

I have ordered food online to be picked up at 10 p.m. PST on 9/2/23. I had my father pick up the food, as I was busy with other things to bring it home. As he picked up the food, they said that the food was picked up half an hour ago when I placed the order at 9:28 pm. All the staff then harassed him, as he had picked up food as a dasher and then picked up food for dinner. They have caused a scene stating that he is trying to cheat his way into getting more food. That is not the case. He didn’t arrive to the store until 10 PM when the food was supposed to be ready to be picked up. They were about to refuse him the food. The staff needs to be better trained.
