I think I found my new favorite place to eat while I’m in NC working a new job. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone to eat at. The French fries are delicious. The service was really good I didn’t have to wait too long for my food, overall, I had a pleasant experience.

We go most Fri nights. Wish they stayed open little later, sometimes hard to get there early enough. Sweetest waitress. Food is always delicious. Only complaint, its usually freezing in there, but thankfully last night wasn’t as bad.

I had the meatloaf sandwich and it was delicious. I’ve had a hamburger before and it was delicious. I recommend if you’re in the area to stop and get some really great food. The employees are very friendly and they are super nice people.

I honestly don’t know how many times I’ve passed this place and never paid it any mind in the little town of Climax. Stopped in here with a friend after work, I was concerned as we were the only ones there but the dining room was clean and well kept.

I used to work here before the current owner since the current owner took over they do not spend money on anything they no longer serve breakfest or dinner after 7pm and are not open on the weekend they do not want to keep enough people working as well so the employees have to work extra hard and you will have to wait to be seated when no ones even in the dining room will take at least 30min for one person to get food if there is multiple people waiting to eat good luck. Food is ok but not worth price this resturant has really went down hill from what it used to be

Before COVID my husband and I would visit Dave’s at least once a week for breakfast which we really liked, but they quit serving breakfast. This is a small community restaurant with mostly simple dishes and country cooking. My husband likes their hamburger steak & veggies; I like their chicken tenders and homemade chips.

Great food and excellent customer service!! Really appreciate this small town gem! We have not had a bad meal or experience there!! Burgers are great, specials are tasty and all the fried stuff is on point! Reasonable prices as well! A good place to sit back relax I have a hamburger hamburger steak whatever you want have an extensive and varied menu. Homemade chili for your hot dogs which are fried to perfection. I really haven’t found anything there that wasn’t good. Try it you’ll enjoy it you’ll go back for more.
