We ended up eating here after the Cowtown Rodeo sold out. Did a random online search, and could not have been happier to find this place! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but the staff literally stayed open 45 minutes after closing to let us dine in. They were so nice and accommodating, the front counter employee was so adorable with our daughter, and the food was literally some of the best we’ve had in a long time. We can’t stop talking about the potato salad! Would 100% recommend!!

Overall good food. Very nice staff, great menu, intricate and well designed recipes. Biggest complaint is price, just seems to be way to expensive. 3 meats and 2 sides and a soda sets you back $44. This same combo runs $26 at a place like mission bbq. With the exception of the pulled pork which was awesome. (tasted like it just came out of the smoker). The brisket was slightly dry and the sausage was too.. both tasted like yesterdays reheats.

****UPDATE 10.1.22 NOW SERVING BREAKFAST!! omg game changer!! It was absolutely amazingggggg! Got the fried chicken and egg sandwich and the brisket egg and cheese sandwich and let me tell u best breakfast sandwich I’ve eaten in a while! Both are served with potatoes!! Also serving donuts *****

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon David and Sons when we came out to try a coffee place near by. The food was amazing! I got a fried chicken sandwich and it was HUGE- i ate half of it and still have a whole portion left for another meal. My boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich with sweet tea and it was delicious. For dessert we got a peanut butter donut that was also delicious. The workers were extremely nice and helpful with answering questions about the menu.

Great food! The candied bacon is to die for! Not so much thr mac n cheese. Donuts are pretty good with lots of different flavors. A little pricey.

Got 8 sandwiches for the guys at the shop for lunch today.. no one enjoyed the food. Dry and flavorless. Very disappointing for how much it cost. Maybe cut the prices in half and it may be worth it. Not going back I’ll tell you that..

I tried this place for the first time, placed my order online for 5 of their hand breaded chicken tenders for $15. I waited for their text to say the food was ready and drove over to grab it (5 minutes). I called the restaurant afterwards because my food was not really warm at all and pretty dry. They told me they did not make it order and grabbed it from a warming tray but assured me it was only there for 30 minutes which I do not believe. It honestly doesn’t matter, I would think an online order would have been made fresh. I paid the premium price for quality food that would be cooked to order, I did not receive that. I will not be back, I hope the business the best.

Brisket and meats a great. If you call ahead to order be prepared to have issues. The last three times I’ve ordered ahead most of the order was wrong. It’s almost as if the girls answering the phones don’t care, and are just looking for tips. Today I ordered 2 plain double cheeseburgers with bacon, nothing else. I got 2 birgers, no cheese, bits of candied bacon with bbq sauce. $34.50 for 2 double cheese bacon burgers and a coke down the drain.
