Delicious and reasonable! We arrived on Tuesday to find baskets are only $5.99 on Tuesday! We had the catfish and cheese grits and hush puppies. This included 3 catfish filets fried crispy. We were so impressed we ordered the popcorn shrimp to go for another meal. All you can eat popcorn shrimp is $11.99 Tues thru Thurs. This may be our new Tuesday favorite! Service was great. Ashton took time to explain the specials and brought everything super fast. Very casual. Great for all ages. Highly recommend.

Went this past Saturday and the food was amazing. We got the seafood basket and it fed me, my boyfriend and son. Came with a whole lot of food. Some of the best coleslaw I have had in a while and the shrimp, oysters and catfish was awesome. Will definitely be going back soon

The food is decent, but the prices are a great deal higher than they used to be, which so is everywhere else, to be fair. Service is great. The Atmore location is better, but I’d eat here again.

It was a Saturday, I had the fish and oysters plate with okra, and we ordered fried pickles. Their food all tasted the same. Pickles could have been cooked longer. My oysters were soggy and I found a dime size piece of shell in one. The coleslaw gave us heartburn for hours. It must have not just been us because the table next to us had crab claws and fish. I know this because I heard them say what the cost was for them. The waitress asked if they needed a box. His plate had all the fries and one piece of fish. Her’s looked like she barely eat. I brought mine home to either make it better of feed to the dogs. The best part was the hush-puppies and okra. If you have made it this far in my post, then know that the David’s Catfish in Atmore Alabama is amazing, never disappoints!!!! Maybe that’s it, I was expecting their food.

My wife, grandmother and I visited on 3-18-2023. Got there about 6:15 and got seated about 6:30. The guy that seated us let us know they were short staffed which was fine with us. We got our drinks and waited, they also sat 2 different groups after us. We waited about 30 minutes and I noticed the waitress was taking orders from the 2 groups that were seated after us and when I noticed us getting ignored by every worker there we got up and left. It’s a shame because I have been telling my wife for months that I wanted to try them because everyone says their food is great. I will never find out now as I have no plans of ever going back. It is almost a 60 mile round trip only to be ignored by the WHOLE staff.

The place is completely undecorated and lifeless, it was surprising, there are no drinks (alcohol) as well FYI. From the outside you’d expect like a bar, a cool scene, or at least some music for goodness sake. I felt like I was in a cold, old, school cafeteria. Do some decorating in here, make it cool and fun, play music…. this place could be ridiculously amazing with so little effort.

I got the fillet and shrimp AYCE, and my friend got the seafood platter. It was good and fresh! It was my first time at this restaurant. Service was a little frustrating since we sat down in the middle of the restaurant and 3 servers didn’t see us. We waited about 15 mins for drinks before walking to the register to ask if we were supposed to order at the front. After that, everything was fine.
