Food was really good. We were passing through on the way to Pensacola, Florida. The food was hot. They were pretty busy which probably contributed to the good food quality. The turnip greens were very flavorful. It was pricey. Since we didn’t eat in the restaurant, I wish we had bought a family meal considering the prices. Would go again if we pass through the area.

Great food and top notch service. Seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Drinks and hot food were on the table quickly. Drink glasses were never empty. Had the hurricane shrimp poboy. It was over-stuffed and flavor was excellent! Also, loved the Cole slaw. Fries were good as well.

This is a wonderful local restaurant. We were traveling back home from Tuscaloosa and there’s not too many options. Thankfully, we happened across this place when searching for somewhere to eat that was NOT a fast food chain. Our waitress was delightful and we enjoyed the local charm. Everything hit the spot. Those cheese grits are amazing and you should try them. Super creamy and the right degree of cheesy. The sweet tea is southern perfection. Glad to know this is a great place to stop on future journeys.

I love this place! Their catfish filets are absolutely delicious!! Melts in your mouth!! Cheese grits, yes please! Smooth abd seasoned well!! I always leave full, their coleslaw is sweet but it is tasty, and I’m not usually a fan of sweet slaw… Bringing my family when they come visit
