Used to love the food. The last two times I got food to go. First time burger and fried mushrooms. Mushrooms were just a bunch of over cooked little pieces. Burger was not as good as I’ve had before. Today I tried grilled chicken and fries. These fries look like they have been sitting around for days. Definitely not fresh. Since I used up the gift card I had I won’t be back. Don’t know what happened there but the quality has definitely gone down

Cheese sticks and boneless wings were amazing. Size of burgers is the standard bun size from the grocery store. Meat was clearly good quality and all toppings were fresh. The surprise was the taste was fairly average. Definitely could’ve used a bit more seasoning. My son said his tasted like the ones at school if that gives you an idea. Good but not great by any means. Chicken quesadilla was quite good and better seasoned than the beef. Fries are hand cut, homemade which I believe may be why some have stated they are greasy or over cooked. They are not as crisp as frozen fries but I thought they tasted quite good once salted.

Great service and fresh food! Ordered the grilled Buffalo chicken salad with bacon, avocado and blue cheese dressing; medium hot wings, and fried pickles. Fantastic! All of it! Their meat is purchased from the local Hampton meats butcher and is very tasty and fresh. The pickles were lightly battered and crispy. Our server was great and the manager went around asking all customers about their food. We just happened to stop by since I had an appt nearby. Glad we did! Will return when in the area. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Davo’s has pretty good burgers (although a bit over cooked) and I really like their onion rings. For about $10 for a 1/3lb burger AND hand-cut fries, the prices are great. The meat is fresh (never frozen) and purchased from a local butcher. All their toppings (to include sauted onions, mushrooms, and varous not-so-common sauces) are added at no extra cost for a build-your-own burger. Cheese and bacon are extra. They also have ready made specialty ideas like Aloha, Southwestern, and California burgers. I love the fried mushrooms for appitizer but a housemade horseradish sauce would be much better than the basic ranch they are served with (they are better without the ranch). They have non-burger items but Ive not had them before. With a full bar, its a well-rounded restaurant.

The service was really good and everyone working there was really friendly. They came highly recommended from some locals we talked to at the pawn shop nearby. We weren’t disappointed one bit. The burgers we’re excellent and worth upgrading to a double. The wings could have been hotter though. Even the hot was pretty mild. Next time we pass through town, we’ll dine again.
